"Seen better days"
Overall a little disapppointed as the hotel did not match up to the photos. This is Tesco's conference centre operated on its behalf by De Vere. It was probably nicely done out when it was first owned by Tescos, but looking rather tired now.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

a beautiful hotel consisting of 1 old building & 1 new building for accom and adjoining training rooms & restaurant/bistro. i experienced very helpful staff and ate breakfast on 1 occassion which was very nice. i visited in january 2012 so outdoor pool was covered up and 9-hole pitch & putt was a bit rough looking but no doubt would be excellent during […] better weather. be aware that the hotel is a little out of the way, but very nice if that is what you are looking for. nearest shops i could find were approx 10-15 mins drive along country roads at Goff's Oak. 2 very nice, old fashioned pubs at the entrance to the hotel grounds........but long walk from the hotel reception.......but i suppose it just makes you enjoy the first beer more! i will definately stay again. Excellent value, nice sized room and bathroom. Staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good. We were there for one night on business and would recommend it both for business and as a leisure location.
