Once in lifetime trip; ended up with 1 room with river view and the other street /roof view. No one at counter to check in; had to find someone - the bartender, but he helped us to our rooms. They were up most […] of night because bar was below their room and VERY LOUD. Our room was spacious and had no problems. Both rooms had extremely difficult showers to operate and lacked outlets in bathroom and in bedroom. We had dinner in bar and the food was FANTASTIC and the drinks were GREAT! Security a concern as window didn't lock. Monday morning male manager rude and unhelpful but all other staff lovely. Good food, lovely little town. Clean and comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room comfortable. Not much choice of places to eat in Kingussie. Silverfjord's evening meals were very good but expensive (£13 for a burger)

The place seems to be run by some early-twenty-somethings who seemed quite lost. The young guy who checked us in asked us to come to the pub and check in there, which was rather uncomfortable as there were quite a lot of people in the pub and we had to drag our luggage all the way to the bar just to be checked in. Our room was ok, but there was black […] mold on the grouting of the bathroom tiles and one of the curtains was about 30 cm too short so you can't get the room even semi-dark. Read more

Hotel dont les chambres ont manifestement été refaites à neuf récemment. Donc très propre et en excellent état. Seul bémol : douche pas très chaude et débit ridicule. A coté de la voie ferrée, mais pas de circulation la nuit donc pas de dérangement. Petit déjeuner avec un grand choix et de bonne qualité. L'hotel fait également bar et restaurant. Au bord d'une voie ferrée, isolation phonique pas terrible. Cambre confortable mais rideaux non occultants donc réveillés aux aurores. Pas de réception d'hôtel s'adresser au bar. Petit déjeuner correct
