On arrival - plenty of parking, easy to find with or without Sat Nav. Reception and check in was friendly and efficient. The room was well equipped and clean, if not a little small for the price. The bathroom was well equipped and of a decent size, just the bedroom could have done with a little more space to move around. Food in the restaurant was tasty […] but expensive. One restaurant has a fixed menu at £40.00 for a two course or £47.00 for a three course.....for that I would want it to be cooked by royalty and fed to me by the queen! The other restaurant is still a bit pricey in my opinion, and I eat out out a lot. Breakfast service was slow and it was a struggle to get a table. The breakfast food was well presented and tated okay as long as you like smoked bacon! Check out was fast and efficient and local knowledge of the staff was good.
