We could not fault the hotel or the staff in any way. The Receptionist was so helpful & always went the extra mile to make sure we knew our way around Nottingham despite admitting she was not from the area. Our room was clean & well presented & surpassed our expectations of a budget hotel. The location was ideal & only a few minutes walk from our destination […] (the arena). Good hotel for the price. Clean rooms. Great location. Could not ask for better in terms of shops, places to eat and nightlife. Only slight comment is no toiletries in the rooms and very small towels. Not a major problem but something to be aware of. We found our stay to be exactly what we expected/hoped for. Parking very near to the hotel (witha discounted rate to park when we stayed). "visiting my daughter at uni"
Visiting my eldest daughter at uni - I booked to stay at the Ibis solely because of the price. Pleasantly surprised to see that it was near to everywhere and only a short 10 min walk from the train station. Nottingham Contemporary Arts Centre is practically opposite - free and fun. Worth a look see. Room was very basic but very clean. Teen and I were […] bemused by the 'Ship cabin-like' bathroom but everything worked so no worries. Receptionists were disappointingly clueless about the surrounding area and local cafes but not a deal breaker. Worth noting that we missed the weekend rush by arriving on a sunday so no noise to complain about as other reviews may have done. All in all it does what it says on the 'tin'! "weekend with a group"
hotel was picked specifically for the where it was situated in the city, shops, bars,restaurants all within walking distance. staff were helpfull and the rooms were clean, car park directly opposite and had reduced rates if you got your ticket stamped by reception. was a bit noisy early hours outside because of local pubs kicking out but i do sleep […] with the windows open. clean towel each morning but just the 1 each, had to go and request a spare, overall i would book this hotel again, quite good value for money. Hvorfor er det ikke trådløst i 3. Etg og fint om det kan opplyses når man spør ved innsjekk. Dog pluss for kompensasjon for en times fri bruk i resepsjonsområdet, men det bør være trådløst på hele hotellet. Ellers leverte Ibis igjen som alltid.
