"It's OK"
Hotel is in reasonable location to find plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, etc, The free parking gave me great pleasure after paying £15 a night plus so many times. Room was clean and comfortable. The Royal Station Hotel is a Victorian jewel but thoroughly modernised and in a central position only yards for the Central Station and Metro and easy walking distance from shopping centres and Theatre . "Royal Station - Great location, great hotel!"
Hotel was perfect, right next door to the metro station - very handy for the transfer to and from the airport - and a short walk from most parts of the city centre. We were here to see a gig in the Academy which is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Inside the hotel it was well decorated & clean. Our superior bedroom was huge with a couch, fridge, […] safe, lcd tv and large ensuite. "Excellent location"
I was extremely impressed with my stay at this hotel, it was a mere 2 minute walk from the train station (you can see the hotel as you exit the station), and was within walking distance to all of the major attractions. Very close to Newcastle's bar and club scene as well, without being so close that it gets noisy. The hotel lobby is very stricking and […] the rooms are also nicely furnished. We were concerned initially about the proximity to the train station (our room overlooked the tracks and we were concerned about noise at night), but this turned out to be not a problem at all.
