"Freezing Cold"
The hotel was good for a budget hotel but the heaters didn't work and I spent the night waking up due to the cold.There were no additional blankets available, this is really not a nice way to spend a night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a great night's sleep!!"
Not happy to discover that the nightly room rate (including breakfast) was no different to what we had paid on here - WITHOUT breakfast - and we couldn't cancel on here!! The details for the hotel said there was no car park, and so we parked in the nearest multi-storey, which cost a lot. Our 'double' bed was actually two singles with a double sheet […] over them, so very uncomfortable, as we kept gravitating towards the join. Pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable. "Good location and good food when it finally comes"
The hotel was pleasant - environment, communal areas, design, etc. Room was a good size and clean. The service on the other hand, was truly awful. Nobody at the daytime cafe/brasserie/bar - had to eventually ask a receptionist for coffee and food. Room service took forever as well. Very poor service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Station"
The hotel was very good value. It was an easy walk from the Cardiff Central Rail Station (about 10 minutes). I styaed the second night across the road at the Raddison Blu which was slightly better (newer with better room facilities) but equally it was a lot more expensive. Breakfast at the Park Inn was very good - good choice and plenty of healthy options. […] The room was comfortable and spacious. The heater only had an on/off setting so no thermostat to control the room temperature. I would stay here again without hesitation. Overall, my 2 night stay was good but not entirely due to the hotel staff and facilities! The hotel was busy when i stayed, due to the conference being held at Motorpoint, but they were not really prepared for this and breakfast was a bit chaotic. Food good, service average. Room ok, some dirty peeling wallpaper in corner of room. Disappointed that […] tea, coffee and milk in room not topped up after first night. colleagues who stayed there too had a problem with toilet not flushing and had to change rooms, but had to push to get another room, they weren't keen to offer a change. This is a really comfortable and convenient hotel for visiting central Cardiff. I didn't use the restaurant in the evening as it is really close to lots of resonable places to eat.
