Grange Tower Bridge

Hotel definitely deserves its high ratings. This is a very clean hotel with all the amenities you'll need whether your trip is for business or leisure. We were sightseeing in and around London for eight days. The room was spacious and the bed and furnishings were very comfortable. We'd only planned to stay a this hotel for the first three days, but […] our experience was so good, we booked it again for the final three days, venturing out away from London area with the rest of the time. We LOVED the spa, with large indoor pool, hot tub, three specialty showers, hot and cold foot baths, steam room and sauna. AMAZING after a day on your feet seeing the sights. This hotel is just a few blocks from the Tower Hill subway stop on the District or Circle lines, close enough we just pulled our luggage on its wheels over to the hotel and back to the subway without the need for a taxi. We walked to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London from this hotel, again just a few blocks away. And we loved the pub next store to the hotel, which had reasonable-priced food and drinks. We ended up at Goodman Fields Wetherspoon most mornings for breakfast and also for our evening meals. The hotel breakfast buffet looked very good, but was a bit pricey for our tastes. Read more

We were so pleased with our choice of this London hotel, easily accessed by getting off the Circle Line or District Line from Tube (underground) at Tower Hill. An attendant at the station told us how to walk to our hotel, just two and a half blocks away. We had three suitcases between the two of us as well as several backpacks and managed fine to roll […] our suitcases on the sidewalk to the hotel. We also loved the simple and inexpensive pub right next to the hotel, where we ended up having every breakfast and dinner (why mess with success.) We had only planned to stay a few days, but enjoyed their spa and the quality of the hotel for such a reasonable price that we came back for two more nights before departing London for home. This hotel was very new and the staff was very helpful. We were able to get a room with our requested view- the Tower Bridge- and the concierge obtained taxis and Wicked tickets for us (6th row, day of show). The room was large and the shower was heaven. This hotel was so new the facilities were not complete yet. Rooms were opening on various floors as they were completed. The pool and other "spa" facilities were not finished and not opened. I knew this when I got the reservation and the price was right. The bathrooms in the rooms need a different design. Nice tub but very small and kind of dangerous […] shower. The neighborhood was good if you wanted to be close to the London Tower and such but to be honest, on weekends or evenings, there is almost nothing open in the neighborhood. It is a business neighborhood so it is like a ghost town after hours. The Minories is close buy that that was good. We determined we needed another night and when we checked the price it was so far above that we decided to relocate in a different part of London. Also, my mother in law forgot a small purse containing a passport in her room after we checked out. When she discovered this it was a HUGE effort to get the hotel to just check the room. Read more

Great holiday in a good location, however parking is a bit of a bind. Local car park is very good but about a 300yd walk to the hotel across a busy road. The Grange Hotel was perfect for our family. It was in a convenient part of town, close to the Tube, sights, and a mini Tesco (supermarket.) It was modern and clean. We (family with 4 young kids) recently spent Christmas week in London at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel. Executive Brief: Positive side: nice brand spanking new hotel, large nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds(!), attentive staff, great pool and spa negative side: situated in an "up and coming" neighborhood that has a long way to "up and come"; […] the pool hours are not geared for families during the week; no parking in hotel and the onloading / offloading has to be coordinated with hotel staff as there is no parking in street. As a family with four young kids (4-9) we need large connecting rooms or large suites. The hotel honored our request and gave us connected rooms. The rooms were large and comfortable with enough storage space for all. All the furniture and furnishing are of high quality, in good taste and brand new. Hotel staff is nice and attentive and gladly assists. Room service accommodated request for off-menu item to provide a children meal and a vegeterian salad for parents instead of the x-mas menu. I ordered flowers for our room ahead of our visit and a nice bouquet waited for us in the room. Pool is large and nice and one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. It is pretty rare in London to find a nice pool. Alas, during the week, the pool hours for children end at 4pm... which was really disappointing and a shame... Breakfast is expensive at 20GBP/person (spending 120 pounds on breakfast seemed obscene), luckily there is a nice diner down the street (recommended) and a cafe' across the street. The six of us ended up having breakfast for 15 pounds, altogether... The hotel is a five minutes walk from the Tower Bridge Tube station and thus is accessible through the circle and district lines (though you have to remember this is a little bit to the east) The hotel is near the city (it seems like you can reach out and touch the Gherkin, so it's probably a 10 minute walk). We are a family of four and the exe. room was good for us. Room facility was very good and my two children were very happy with the bath room as it had a bath tube and separate shower en suite with massage feature. Staff was nice and willing to help. hotel agreable, chambre au calme, propre , proximite tour de londres et tower bridge. On peut regretter les horaires restreintes pour l acces a la piscine des enfants, qui elle est de bonne taille, sauna et hammam corrects. Petits dejeuners et repas tout a fait corrects. Flott hotell, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, veldig grei beliggenhet med gangavstand til Tower Hill og Tower Bridge. Kort avstand til alternative spisesteder/ pub. Men; fremdeles finnes mange mennesker i kategorien "røkere". Hotellet burde kunne tilby noen stoler med bord utendørs til de som vil sitte ute i sosialt samvær med andre, og kunne ta seg […] en røyk. top class hotel with top class service 5 min from tower hill tube. 7 min from tower of london and london bridge but you have to take the tube to any other turist attraction. Cheap pub with breakfast next door. We were very impressed but I think the price will rise when the pool are finished.
