"Money can buy better places in London"
I thought I was prepared for some customer service issues in European hotels; still the front desk could impress me with them not being helpful at all. Any questions we had were answered in a casual and not-helpful manner (like: what is the best way to get to Gatwick airport by metro/bus? "not sure, but you might want to take a taxi"). The room size […] was very good and the bathroom was quite clean, but the two double-bed room in reality had one bed and one sofa-bed (which was very uncomfortable). There was a problem with one of the elevators and the wait time for the other one was quite long (had to take the stairs after waiting quite a bit). Some TV channels were not working one night apparently for some maintenance reasons. The hotel is located in an industrial-like zone with no shops, restaurants, attractions close to it.
