"Okay hotel for the price/location, but..."
...there are about 20 hotels in the couple of blocks surrounding this one that are probably better and not much different in price. I stayed only one night so it was fine and I didn't complain. I ordered a single room, which in any hotel I've stayed in before involves a double bed and at least some space to move around. This room was extremely tiny […] with a single bed that felt like an old spring mattress. The room itself was clean and the decorations were nice, so again, if you're trying to save some money and you're only staying for a night, this is really fine. I had one incident where I accidentally locked the key in the room and went to the front desk to ask for another one to unlock it and retrieve my own. I was told that there is no other key for the room, and they'd have to call a locksmith that would only open at 9am (I was in town for a business meeting at 9am so this would be completely unacceptable). The man at the front desk tried everything he could and then actually climbed out onto a small roof to go in my window, so this service was AMAZING. However I found it to be ridiculous that there was no second key/master key and that he even had to do this. I couldn't decide if this was a plus or a minus for the hotel. The breakfast was fine but nothing special - some fresh fruit (apples and bananas), dry/stale croissants, toasted white bread (not stale), beans, and a choice of three different cereals plus various drinks. All in all my stay was fine, however if I were going to stay in the area again I would explore other options and try to pay more for something a little more spacious. Please note that I did try to change rooms for something bigger as I didn't realize how small it would be, but I was told there were no other vacancies - it's possible that other rooms are nicer/bigger in this hotel, it just wasn't my own experience. "Pieni huone"
Huone oli todella pieni. Suihkun lämpötilan säädin oli jäänyt jumiin ja sieltä tuli vain polttavan kuumaa vettä. Vasta kolmannen kerran asiasta ilmoitettuamme hotellivirkailija tuli voimalla vääntämään sen toiseen asentoon, vaikka olivat mm. luvanneet että putkimies tulee sen korjaamaan. Vain yksi peitto kapeassa parisängyssä. Kysyimme toista peittoa, […] mutta ilmeisesti sitä ei löytynyt koska virkailijat eivät ilmoittaneet mitään, lupasivat kyllä katsoa jos sellainen löytyisi. Oven avausnuppi oli irti mennessämme sinne eikä sitä korjattu koko kolmen päivän vierailumme aikana, vaikka ilmoitimme siitä heti ja henkilökunta kävi paikalla toteamassa tilanteen.
