Great convenience of the transportation, small but cozy hotel, speedy wifi and reasonable price make Jesmond Dene a great hotel to stay. However, the... room is extraordinarily small. I stayed in a single room and the room is really small that I have to move away the desk to put my luggage, which makes me really difficult to walk around in my room. I booked this B&B because it was one of few with room for a family of 5. We stayed during the Olympics so there were not many hotels available, and all were very pricey. The room was good--just big enough to fit all the beds. The shared bathroom was just a few steps from our room. The staff was friendly and breakfast was nice. The best feature is that […] the location is a short walk to Kings Cross station. This made touring around London on the tube, and our departure to Yorkshire on a train very convenient. This small boutique hotel is within a 5 minute walk to St Pancras train/tube station, which you can see from the front door. Hot English Breakfast is served in the basement along with juice and cereal. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We even bought our Original London tour bus tickets from them. Tycker detta hotell var ett mycket bra alternativ då jag reste med min 11 åriga dotter.Personalen var jätte trevlig och hjälpsam, frukosten var rejäl, fanns att välja på om man våga fråga. Hotellet låg på en lugn gata men det tog bara 3 min till tunnelbanan. In till centrum tog det ca 5-10 min beroende på vart man skulle. zeer goed. we brachten onze valiezen naar hotel voor het inchecken en ook de laatste dag mochten we de valiezen in het hotel laten staan na het inchecken. ook kregen we een omzetter van engelse naar europese stopcontacten. Alles zeer goed. Een opmerking : het dubbel bed is smal. dat kan ook niet anders in london centrum. Tillbringade 3 nätter på detta B&B i ett rum för 5 personer ( 3 barn ålder 13,10 och 7). Allt fungerade superbra, rent, snyggt, otroligt trevlig personal och vilken frukost !!!!! Vi höll oss mätta långt in på eftermiddagen. Centralt läge vid King´s Cross där 5 olika tunnelbanelinjer passerar. Dette er et svært godt alternativ hvis du ønsker det enkelt og billig. Hotelværtene var veldig hyggelige, frokosten helt super og rommet etter forventningene. Vi hadde et familierom med plass til 5 personer. Hotellet ligger sentralt til både undergrunn og tog og det er kort vei til sentrum. Vi koste oss og kommer gjerne tilbake.
