Upscale, residential Kensington is best known for its palace and gardens, and for its major museums in South Kensington —the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the V&A. Earl’s Court has a wide selection of budget and mid-range hotels, clustered around Earl’s Court exhibition centre. Its Underground station offers good links (District and Piccadilly lines) with trains running to central London and south-west to Wimbledon.

The hotel is NOT in Earls court. It is in Fulham which is not a great vacation area for tourists. The rooms were tiny --they say its for four, two queen beds but one is a love seat pullout. It was really tight and we are not fussy travelers. No plug in bathroom was a pain. The staff was great--super nice and friendly which helped a tonGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for families and couples!"
Our hotel room was pretty large and included complimentary buffet breakfast--which is a plus! They gave you plenty of food to eat. It is also located only 5 minutes away from the nearest underground which was great too. Overall, I would heartily recommend this hotel to everyone, also want to mention there are plenty of restaurants nearby too.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Small and far from The Tube, otherwise very good."
Two kids and two adults in a room leaves no room for the luggage. Very small space. A little bit too far from the Tube. Otherwise very good experience, excellent staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel"
Great clean hotel, great breakfast. 5 min walk to the metro- amazing indian restaurant next door. If you are comfortable walking (I mean able) to the metro it is a great place to stay. Has a beer and snacks downstairs at night. We enjoyed it. Biggest thing to us is cleaniness and they were spot on!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel"
I was there for four nights, two adults and two kids. Rooms were fine for luggage as we are light packers. Breakfast was plenty and very well stocked...my kids loved having a full breakfast each day. Easy access to the tube to get downtown, and to the Easybus pick up/drop off route from Gatwick. The neighborhood has people from all over the world. Everyone […] was very friendly and welcoming to us. I had no concerns walking around at night with my kids outside of the normal precautions you take in a large city. I will definitely make this my first choice hotel if we return to London. Rooms were very quite at night and the rates were reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Basic hotel done well"
The hotel met all my expectations: comfortable beds, clean and well maintained, polite and effective staff, safe location, and close to transportation links. The closest tube stations are actually West Brompton Station and West Kensington, which are both a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Despite the hotel's name, Earl's Court is actually a bit further […] out (about 8 minutes walk from the hotel). It's a basic hotel, so no dining options in the hotel itself, no mini bar in the rooms, and no room service etc. I did not feel the lack of these services since there were lots of dining options along North End Road, and there are grocers in the area as well as a supermarket, which is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can always order in. Breakfast is included and is available from 7 - 11 am. If you're going to need internet service, it is extra. Unless you need it for a very short period, you're probably better off just getting short term data service from a local phone company. Being that it is London, the rooms and beds run small (as compared to the US). Also, the hotel has this energy conservation system with heat and light, where your room key is needed to turn on the lights and heat. It takes a while (5 - 10 minutes) for the heat to turn on, which was a bit inconvenient. Once it was on it was fine. I stayed there for about a week, and other than having to wait for the heat to turn on, I had no problems. I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for package paid."
The things that annoyed us where only the very soft bed and the very hard sofa bed used by the children. The clenliness, in the room and all the hotel was very good an is one of the first things we look for with little kids. We noticed staff cleaning in various times of the day which is very good. We noticed also one of the staff during breakfast who […] we admired for her non stop activity to keep the breakfast food available all the time, while also coping to clear the tables for other customers to sit. She was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Simple and Clean"
I only stayed for one night, and it was a good place for a short stay. It is possible a longer stay would result in a higher rating. It is closer to the airport than the more expensive downtown hotels; however, it is not very convenient to downtown sights and is a several block walk to the tube. The rooms are small but new, bright and clean. The staff […] were helpful and the value was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great price and service"
The rooms are quite small so it was a tight fit for a family of four but the location was convenient to the sites in London and the service from staff was excellent. The breakfast was good too!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Worst customer service of my life"
This hotel is clean and in a nice part of London, easily accessible by Tube, etc. However, the hotel staff are the most inconsiderate, unhelpful, and downright rude people I have ever encountered. Even though I booked the room 2 months in advance, they did not have the room available to me that I had requested -- instead of a double bed, my husband […] and I were given two small twin beds without any apology or explanation. My husband struggles with insomnia, and was unable to sleep a wink the whole night due to the cramped, uncomfortable bed. Most upsetting was the way the matter was handled by hotel staff. My husband and I were not treated as valued guests, but rather as nuisances at the bottom of the totem pole. When speaking to someone at the front desk, we were continually ignored or pushed aside to answer phone calls. We always made an effort to be polite, but never received a single apology. When my husband called the front desk to ask about using a calling card on the room phone, he was yelled at that we could not use our room phone except to call within the hotel. There is a phone in the lobby that we discovered on our last day there by which guests can use international calling cards, but we were never told about it. I was also disappointed by the lack of Internet access. I would never recommend this hotel and indeed am never staying at a Holiday Inn again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

good hotel. a bit far away from EARLS COURT neighbourhood, but very near a convinient bus stasion. childers sofa could be much better. breakfast OK, but a little boring(every day the same)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Small but clean - good location!"
TRANSIT This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the West Kensington Tube Station in Zone 2. It was a very busy station so my Mom and I didn't feel we uncomfortable at all even when coming home at 11PM. There are two buses that stop at the front door of the hotel (Lillie Road stop): the 391 and the 28. Take these whenever you can to avoid the chaos […] of the Tube. ROOM Small but very clean and comfortable. There were two twin-beds in our room. A shower but no bathtub. And only shelves - no dresser. VERY quiet! Internet not free. BREAKFAST Very busy and often hard to get a seat. Same thing every day - cold cereals; yogurts; cheese. Apple and orange juices. Whole and low fat milks. Chocolate pastry; croissants; wheat bread and a toaster. Beans; scrambled eggs; and sausage. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for a good price:)"
My family of four spent 5 nights in this hotel and found it a wonderful experience. The room was clean and the maid service was prompt every morning and friendly. The neighborhood felt safe but it is a bit of a walk from either tube station (around 7 minutes). The rooms are small if you are used to American size rooms but comfy. There are no closets […] but we had plenty of space to store our clothes out of our suitcases. There is a cozy pub one block up that we spent our evenings in (without the kids). The front desk had us in our room in under 5 minutes and our check out was just as fast. The free breakfast is great and my family took full advantage of a free meal every day in expensive London:D Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Earls Court"
The hotel was okay for the price. The staff at the front desk is not local. None of them were able to give any good advice on where to eat. We had an issue with one of our children and needed to get some medicine. The front desk was not aware that all of the pharmacies are closed on Sunday's, which was of course the day that we needed it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Hotel"
The hotel and room were very nice. The room was quite small but overall a good experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel; underground nearby; neighborhood is questionable"
The staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful during our five day stay. The room was fine, and the breakfast was adequate. The neighborhood is somewhat suspect--the walk from the tube to the hotel after dark was a little off-putting, but we never had any trouble or saw any.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Decent place to stay for the price in London"
The location was in a good neighborhood, the room was small but clean, but we were a little disappointed in the service; the first two persons we spoke with at the front desk did not seem familiar with the neighborhood and were not as fluent in English as they should have been. The evening manager, however, was British and very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"First Time to London and Had a Great Time; For the Price, Cannot Beat This"
Nice hotel for the price. The room was big enough (compared to some other London hotels). The weather outside was unusually warm so the in-room air conditioner was very important and kept things cool. They use an energy conservation system, which means the room key must be used in order to power the room. Took a few minutes to figure it out, but there […] was no inconvenience. Arrived at 9:30 AM and couldn't check in, but they did check our bags so we could enjoy the city until check in at 2:00 PM. Breakfast was sufficient, with eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, cereal, juice, etc. Neighborhood was a little "iffy" towards West Kensington station. However, we mostly used West Brompton with little worry. Hotel is on the edge of Zone 2 for the London Underground, so it's really easy (and cheap) to travel around the city (we used a 7-day Travelcard for Zones 1-2 in order to take advantage of the 2-for-1 deals). One of the coach tour groups has a pick-up point within walking distance of the hotel. Overall, if you are looking to save on your hotel budget, this is a very good option. "Good economy hotel"
Hotel is outside of London, but very near West Brompton tube and rail station which gives you access to all of London. Area a bit run down - but felt safe and it was quiet. Bar closes at 11:00 pm. Has wifi in lobby for a fee. Rooms were clean and spacious for a UK hotel. Free breakfast was basic but the coffee machine and ice dispenser in the lobby […] was wonderful. "Great location for Exhibitions"
Would be a great location if visiting Earls Court but slightly far out for Central London. "Excellent All Round"
we stayed for a short visit to London for my birthday. the hotel is positioned well between two tube stations so doesnt matter which of the 2 routes you come in on!! the walk is a little further than it appears on a map but it is easily manageable. the standard of the hotel was very high and the staff could not do enough for you. the rooms and communal […] areas are decorated to a high standard and gives a very high class feel when you are staying there. you wouldnt think that you were not directly in the centre of london from the standard on offer at this hotel. "Frosty"
We have stayed in another Holiday Inn and been very satisfied, that is why we were disappointed with our stay at the Holiday Inn on Earls Court. Our room was very cold and the temperature was controlled by a central location and not our room. The fact that we were uncomfortably cold made our stay unpleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good value no frills accommodation"
This is the second time I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and I found the accommodation similarly modern, clean and well maintained. The rooms are fairly basic but contain all that most people need, with the exception of drawers to put clothes in. The rooms seem designed for ease of cleaning and maintenance. The staff seem helpful and friendly. […] The free continental breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Overall, this chain seems to provide a consistent standard and good value for money. "Good find!"
The hotel is not in the poshest area for sure, but it was very handy to where we wanted to go. We thought it was a good bargain for the standard of room and location. Hotel room was fine and open area seemed to be tidy despite the fact it was packed with many tourists. The parking was the only concern we had, but in fact it was no trouble as there were […] many off street parking for free after 5 pm. We'll definitely use it again next time we're in London. "A good, all round hotel for all travellers."
The staff were friendly and very helpful checking in, the room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Apart from the queue, breakfast was excellent with lots of food and drink provided and a bright, airy conservatory. Lots of special offers were available at the bar. All public areas were clean and well-maintained.
