"Bright, clean, and very efficient"
The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful. The reception and bar area were cheery and welcoming. Had everything that I needed!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location and deal for familites with kids."
It was hard for me to find a hotel room for 2 adults and 2 kids under $200 per night. Luckily, Expedia had a sale on for this one. The breakfast quality, room and hotel amenities were pretty good. Free wifi access also helps a lot. Expedia says , you pay for internet access, but there is an option for free wifi in room or on installed computers in the […] lobby. "Close to all major activities in the London area"
Well worth it. Enjoyed our stay....able to accomplish all the plans we had made prior to our trip.Genuine Expedia guest review
Too expensive for type of hotel. You only get free internet in the lobby which is completely absurd!! There was hair all over the bathroom, but other than that hotel is ok and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort at a good price in a good location"
My visit to Holiday Inn Express in Earls Court exceeded my expectations. It is just over a five minute walk from two Underground stations (a) West Kensington and (b) West Brompton. The walk to both stations with a medium sized wheeled bag was pretty easy. On the walk from West Kensington along North End Road you pass a rich array of food, coffee and […] cell-phone establishments. The hotel room was not as large as those in the US, but was perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed and a choice of pillows. The bathroom was well designed and perfectly comfortable. The included breakfast was distinctly superior to those in the US with more choices, and a distinctively more up-market feel. The front desk staff were friendly and most helpful. I was very happy with my two night stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel for the money"
Since we mostly were in London to sightsee,we just needed a place to sleep. HIEX was perfect! Clean hotel and rooms. Breakfast was filling. Especially loved the "turbo boost" on the shower sprayer.I'd stay there again next time. About a 4 minute walk to nearest Tube station too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not great for families of four"
The hotel is NOT in Earls court. It is in Fulham which is not a great vacation area for tourists. The rooms were tiny --they say its for four, two queen beds but one is a love seat pullout. It was really tight and we are not fussy travelers. No plug in bathroom was a pain. The staff was great--super nice and friendly which helped a tonGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for families and couples!"
Our hotel room was pretty large and included complimentary buffet breakfast--which is a plus! They gave you plenty of food to eat. It is also located only 5 minutes away from the nearest underground which was great too. Overall, I would heartily recommend this hotel to everyone, also want to mention there are plenty of restaurants nearby too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good value and location. Excellent for business."
Property was modern and clean. Appeared to be recently remodeled. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for everyone"
Great, great location, great room, great breakfast, great bathroom, great doors soundproofed.Genuine Expedia guest review
Service was great . 5 minute walk to tube to cityGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small and far from The Tube, otherwise very good."
Two kids and two adults in a room leaves no room for the luggage. Very small space. A little bit too far from the Tube. Otherwise very good experience, excellent staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great clean hotel, great breakfast. 5 min walk to the metro- amazing indian restaurant next door. If you are comfortable walking (I mean able) to the metro it is a great place to stay. Has a beer and snacks downstairs at night. We enjoyed it. Biggest thing to us is cleaniness and they were spot on!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was there for four nights, two adults and two kids. Rooms were fine for luggage as we are light packers. Breakfast was plenty and very well stocked...my kids loved having a full breakfast each day. Easy access to the tube to get downtown, and to the Easybus pick up/drop off route from Gatwick. The neighborhood has people from all over the world. Everyone […] was very friendly and welcoming to us. I had no concerns walking around at night with my kids outside of the normal precautions you take in a large city. I will definitely make this my first choice hotel if we return to London. Rooms were very quite at night and the rates were reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Basic hotel done well"
The hotel met all my expectations: comfortable beds, clean and well maintained, polite and effective staff, safe location, and close to transportation links. The closest tube stations are actually West Brompton Station and West Kensington, which are both a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Despite the hotel's name, Earl's Court is actually a bit further […] out (about 8 minutes walk from the hotel). It's a basic hotel, so no dining options in the hotel itself, no mini bar in the rooms, and no room service etc. I did not feel the lack of these services since there were lots of dining options along North End Road, and there are grocers in the area as well as a supermarket, which is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can always order in. Breakfast is included and is available from 7 - 11 am. If you're going to need internet service, it is extra. Unless you need it for a very short period, you're probably better off just getting short term data service from a local phone company. Being that it is London, the rooms and beds run small (as compared to the US). Also, the hotel has this energy conservation system with heat and light, where your room key is needed to turn on the lights and heat. It takes a while (5 - 10 minutes) for the heat to turn on, which was a bit inconvenient. Once it was on it was fine. I stayed there for about a week, and other than having to wait for the heat to turn on, I had no problems. I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for package paid."
The things that annoyed us where only the very soft bed and the very hard sofa bed used by the children. The clenliness, in the room and all the hotel was very good an is one of the first things we look for with little kids. We noticed staff cleaning in various times of the day which is very good. We noticed also one of the staff during breakfast who […] we admired for her non stop activity to keep the breakfast food available all the time, while also coping to clear the tables for other customers to sit. She was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Simple and Clean"
I only stayed for one night, and it was a good place for a short stay. It is possible a longer stay would result in a higher rating. It is closer to the airport than the more expensive downtown hotels; however, it is not very convenient to downtown sights and is a several block walk to the tube. The rooms are small but new, bright and clean. The staff […] were helpful and the value was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great price and service"
The rooms are quite small so it was a tight fit for a family of four but the location was convenient to the sites in London and the service from staff was excellent. The breakfast was good too!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Worst customer service of my life"
This hotel is clean and in a nice part of London, easily accessible by Tube, etc. However, the hotel staff are the most inconsiderate, unhelpful, and downright rude people I have ever encountered. Even though I booked the room 2 months in advance, they did not have the room available to me that I had requested -- instead of a double bed, my husband […] and I were given two small twin beds without any apology or explanation. My husband struggles with insomnia, and was unable to sleep a wink the whole night due to the cramped, uncomfortable bed. Most upsetting was the way the matter was handled by hotel staff. My husband and I were not treated as valued guests, but rather as nuisances at the bottom of the totem pole. When speaking to someone at the front desk, we were continually ignored or pushed aside to answer phone calls. We always made an effort to be polite, but never received a single apology. When my husband called the front desk to ask about using a calling card on the room phone, he was yelled at that we could not use our room phone except to call within the hotel. There is a phone in the lobby that we discovered on our last day there by which guests can use international calling cards, but we were never told about it. I was also disappointed by the lack of Internet access. I would never recommend this hotel and indeed am never staying at a Holiday Inn again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
good hotel. a bit far away from EARLS COURT neighbourhood, but very near a convinient bus stasion. childers sofa could be much better. breakfast OK, but a little boring(every day the same)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Small but clean - good location!"
TRANSIT This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the West Kensington Tube Station in Zone 2. It was a very busy station so my Mom and I didn't feel we uncomfortable at all even when coming home at 11PM. There are two buses that stop at the front door of the hotel (Lillie Road stop): the 391 and the 28. Take these whenever you can to avoid the chaos […] of the Tube. ROOM Small but very clean and comfortable. There were two twin-beds in our room. A shower but no bathtub. And only shelves - no dresser. VERY quiet! Internet not free. BREAKFAST Very busy and often hard to get a seat. Same thing every day - cold cereals; yogurts; cheese. Apple and orange juices. Whole and low fat milks. Chocolate pastry; croissants; wheat bread and a toaster. Beans; scrambled eggs; and sausage. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for a good price:)"
My family of four spent 5 nights in this hotel and found it a wonderful experience. The room was clean and the maid service was prompt every morning and friendly. The neighborhood felt safe but it is a bit of a walk from either tube station (around 7 minutes). The rooms are small if you are used to American size rooms but comfy. There are no closets […] but we had plenty of space to store our clothes out of our suitcases. There is a cozy pub one block up that we spent our evenings in (without the kids). The front desk had us in our room in under 5 minutes and our check out was just as fast. The free breakfast is great and my family took full advantage of a free meal every day in expensive London:D Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was okay for the price. The staff at the front desk is not local. None of them were able to give any good advice on where to eat. We had an issue with one of our children and needed to get some medicine. The front desk was not aware that all of the pharmacies are closed on Sunday's, which was of course the day that we needed it.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel and room were very nice. The room was quite small but overall a good experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel; underground nearby; neighborhood is questionable"
The staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful during our five day stay. The room was fine, and the breakfast was adequate. The neighborhood is somewhat suspect--the walk from the tube to the hotel after dark was a little off-putting, but we never had any trouble or saw any.Genuine Expedia guest review

Hotel in good location. 5-10 mins walk from Earls Court. Busy area and well lit. Pubs and restaurants all around. Quick trip from Heathrow and underground close by for travel into London centre.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location, location, location, is just acceptable. service is impressive. I once asked for an umbrella, for it was rainy, the reception lent his own umbrella to us.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice, clean, welcoming Hotel!"
First stop of our holiday, stayed 2 nights. Traveled into London, visited the great sights of London. Travelled on the over/underground trains, excellent public transport system.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basic yet very expensive!"
Very basic hotel with the bare minimum facilities. Staff were reasonably friendly but didn't appear helpful, apart from one young lady who was always good and pleasant. The rooms were very small, we had a sofa bed which was shockingly filthy to sit on so we just avoided it! Bathroom was OK and clean. Although known as the HIExpress Earls Court, it […] was actually a long way away from Earls Court proper, which didn't help. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beds a disaster but hotel nice."
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast room was lovely. The hotel was located close to a bus stop and easy access to the Underground. The room description was a double bed and a pull out couch. The double bed was indeed a double (54 inches) and not a Queen or King. The pull out couch was as hard as a rock and lumpy. I am used to a double bed […] meaning room for two people. Anyway, the double bed was comfortable and my husband and I took turns sleeping on the pull out couch which was terrible. Both of us could not sleep in the double together. The room was clean and the bathroom was great. If you are booking, I recommend trying to get two single beds and a cot or mattress. The breakfast was good. Great restaurants in the neighbourhood. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay in London"
This is a great hotel. You pay for what you get. It's clean and modern and just down the road from the tube station. Close to buses. Breakfast is provided. Excellent place to stayGenuine Expedia guest review
"Depends on the price..."
The hotel was very clean and well kept, but it was not worth the price I paid ($355 Canadian). Our room was very small and dreary with 2 twin beds. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The location is ok and there are many buses that will take you into Central London within 30-40 minutes. The girl at the frontdesk (I think her name was Ange) was […] very nice and helpful. During this trip I have stayed in 3 different London hotels and this one was the most expensive and rated 3rd in terms of "niceness." I know hotels in London feel that they can charge exhorbinant prices because of their location, but if you pay anymore than $150-$200 for this place, you are paying too much! "Good for tourist bad for business travel."
Tourist hotel. If you are traveling on business, I would not recommend. The WiFi in the room was so expensive that the lobby had guest sitting at tables to take advantage of the lobby's free WiFi. Small beds.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very helpful staff, particularly on arrival and in arranging cabs and bag storage on check out.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel for a family weekend in London"
Nice hotel, modern, clean, well maintained, good location with bus and underground connection. Breakfast rather simple without too much choice; several items repeatedly ran out. Still, overall very happy with this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location for Exhibitions"
Would be a great location if visiting Earls Court but slightly far out for Central London. Rooms were quite adequate and well maintained and breakfast was plentiful without being over-complicated; there were queues. Overall what one would expect from the chain and nothing to complain about.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent All Round"
we stayed for a short visit to London for my birthday. the hotel is positioned well between two tube stations so doesnt matter which of the 2 routes you come in on!! the walk is a little further than it appears on a map but it is easily manageable. the standard of the hotel was very high and the staff could not do enough for you. the rooms and communal […] areas are decorated to a high standard and gives a very high class feel when you are staying there. you wouldnt think that you were not directly in the centre of london from the standard on offer at this hotel. "Ideal for Earls Court shows"
Would have been nice to have wifi free throughout the building not just in the foyer. Also, a little more tea/coffee in the room. Have stated before for Earls Court shows and can't fault it. Àlso, really quiet at night. Many London hotels are quite noisy outside at night. Would stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was nice and quiet, we didn't hear any other guests at all. The breakfast every morning was perfect with lots of options; toast, muffins, croissants, eggs, sausages, beans, juice, milk, cereal and fruit. The staff were very friendly and seemed genuinally happy to hear about our travels and where we were from. The area isn't the nicest, as […] the neighbourhood isn't as posh as others, but it was perfectly fine for us. It is about 5 minutes from the tube station.
