"small room"

"This is a difficult review to write"
I really want to recommend this hotel. On the surface, it should have been perfect -- great location, stylish and well-kept, up-to-date features in rooms. It really should be ideal. But things just didn't go well for us here. We were staying 5 nights. On the night we checked in, the elevators were acting very flaky. As we were on the 8th floor, this […] was troubling. The wifi in our room was not working well at all. I got a solid connection, but the network itself was unusable. The big problem, though, showed itself on our first morning. No hot water. I called down to the front desk and they said they had a problem getting hot water to the 8th floor. Not sure why, our water pressure was great -- just no hot at all. They gave us the key to a room of someone who had checked out (but the room was not yet cleaned) for us to shower in. So we had to walk through the lobby to get to the room in which we would shower. This was not great, but they said it would be fixed by the next morning. The next morning came, and we still had no hot water. I called the front desk and they said it would be fixed within 30 minutes. An hour later, we just took cold showers and headed out for the day. On our return, we found we still had no hot water, so they moved us to a new room on the 7th floor. We confirmed the existence of hot water. However, the next morning, we discovered the shower in that room had no pressure. And when I say "no pressure" I mean it -- you had to take the shower handle off the holder and hold it around waist high to get a trickle of water to flow. Sure, we had warm water, but it wasn't coming out. (The sink worked fine). So we asked to be moved again, and when we got back from our day out they had put us on the first floor. This room had good water pressure, good water temp. It was decidedly smaller. "Excellent location and unique hotel"

I found this hotel to be of a reasonable standard and good value for money. The reception staff were professional and when we reported a problem of water leaking outside our room it was dealt with promptly. The room was a reasonable size although the bathroom a little on the small side!! Still a good location, value and overall I think its a good base […] for a couple of days in London, very handy for the tube and I would stay there again if visiting London under my own steam. La estancia en el hotel ha sido muy buena, desde la habitación de la que disfrutamos bastante amplia y limpia hasta el personal de recepción de quienes recibimos un trato amable y cercano. De hecho, la habitación tenía un pequeño servicio de cafetería (sobres de café, chocolate y té) incluído en la habitación que ameniza el despertar o el tiempo que […] uno pasa en ella. super Lage, sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Hotelpersonal kennt sich aber in London bzw. der Umgebung nicht aus. "sehr gute und zentrale Lage in London"
Ein gut geführtes und ih ausgesprochen zentraler Lage von London liegendes Hotel. Das Zimmer war für zwei Personen sehr klein. Auf dem einizgen zur Verfügung stehenden Schrank war schon etwas längere Zeit nicht geputzt worden. Wir bemerkten es erst, als wir eine Tasche, die wir zu raumsparenden Zwecken dort hinaufgestellt hatten, wieder herunter holten […] und zunächst in einer Staubwolke standen. Aber das war auch der einzigste Wermutstropfen. Sonst ist dieses Hotel sehr empfehlenswert. Wir würden es gern bei unserer nächsten London-Reise wieder nutzen.
