This little hotel is centrally located by Victoria Station; the convenience without the noise. My few issues are 1) found a rat turd in my bath towel on day 2. But realistically in a city as old as London, you kinda expect a few rat critters here and there 2) the housekeeping was a bit inconsistent. They didn't have face cloths (some European hotels […] indeed don't carry them) and the number and size of my towels varied from day to day However it is a safe, clean hotel in a good area. For special attention, seek out "Jaxa" at the front desk. She's friendly, engaging, helpful and informative. Although the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant, the staff certainly didn't go out of their way to be welcoming nor helpful. "Low on quality, high on price."
Arrived late at night due to flight delay. Check in was dealt with efficiently. Room was in the basement and was stiflingly hot. Air con unit was extremely noisy when started and I didn’t fancy opening the window as there was a loud extractor unit somewhere just outside. The bed was springy and the pillows were flat. Breakfast started @7am, even if […] I didn’t, and housekeeping wasn’t far behind. Even before my alarm had gone off the knock came to the door and the door was opened. Housekeeping returned again not that long after while I was washing. Even for a continental breakfast the choice was quite sparse. What wasn’t sparse was the cost. My main reason for choosing this hotel was I was meeting friends also travelling to London who had already booked into this hotel so staying in the same hotel made sense. For a similar price I could have booked a room in many better establishments in the surrounding area. It was somewhere to try and sleep at night and nothing more. "Perfect Overnight Stay"
The hotel had everything you could need for an overnight stay in London. Clean comfortable room, excellent shower, really convenient location. We were very pleased with the hotel. The location is so very convenient to Victoria Tube Station , Victoria Coach Station and many restaurants and activities - a great central London location. They are almost finished with the renovation of the lobby. The rooms, halls and breakfast room are newly renovated and very nicely done. . Stayed here for 5 nights. Bedlight took 3 days to be repaired. Staff was friendly however. Internet connection had to be renewed every 24 hours, which is quite inconvenient.
