Good value for the money. The location is great - near Queensway in Bayswater, (the only drawback is that the Bayswater tube station is on the Circle... and District lines, which can be a little slow). Desk personnel were helpful, and the room was clean and functional. It is small (I had a standard double), as London hotel rooms are, and the "desk" is not wide enough to hold a laptop. There is no chair, just a bench. One personal peeve - the bathroom door shuts automatically, so I moved the bench in front of it when I was going in and out. The only real problem was noise from the hallway, especially on the night that I had a room right by the elevator. If you get a room overlooking the square, the view is very nice. To the other side, it overlooks the back of the shopping center around the corner. The TV was fine and wifi worked perfectly. It might not be my first choice for a return stay, but I'd certainly consider it. by a Hotels.com guest on 04/14/13
