Don't be fooled by the HI label or the price. Everything is an extra charge - airport shuttle, parking, breakfast, etc. Some comforts (ex hair dryer, ice machine) not provided. Front desk gave me wrong times for shuttle and I missed it. Next one was 30 minutes later so I had to take a taxi - for $30 - to my terminal. This is an older HI, showing its age. The staff provided top notch service. The business internet was not speedy, but it worked. Very close to the major rental car returns such that you can return the car, walk to the hotel, and depart on that early AM flight. Would stay again.

This hotel needs a taxi ride that cost approximately £10 to terminal 3 or you can take the hoppa bus H4 to terminal 3. This hotel needs a major renovation in order to qualify itself as four star. I would rate this a 2.5 star hotel.. Slightly better than dorm rooms at university.

Nothing special about this hotel, but it is totally adequate as a place to lay over between flights to/from Heathrow. It's as convenient to the airport as any other local hotel and easy to reach via Hoppa Bus H4. The in-house restaurant is fine with a good menu and rairly reasonable prices. I would stay again.

There were certain things that I expected in a 4star hotel that were not there, including wash cloths, an ice bucket and an alarm clock. Also, when I called the desk about the wash cloths, they never showed with the requested items.

This hotel was convenient for a one night lay over at Heathrow. Excellent pub (3 Magpies Pub) maybe two minutes walk, with small shooping area equi-distant. Check in was relatively painless, but although I had a non smoking room there was tell tale odors of tobacco smoke in the room & in the hallway. I had to call down to the desk to advise them that […] a previous client had knocked sizable holes in the back to the bathroom door. There was no bar soap in the room. There was however a wall mounted container of cream soap that had a strange congealed consistency...was tough to rinse it off. The internet did not work. Neither the plug-in ethernet nor the wi-fi until the acting manager hooked me up with a wi-fi connection. I had scheduled my arrival to allow time to complete some critical emails which could not go through. Another deal-breaker was the cost of a breakfast - at 33 pounds (about $45 canadian) it was outrageously over-priced. And while there was an acknowledged cold-snap, the heating system in the room only operated when the pass-key was inserted into the wall connecter while I was in the room. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the entrance to Heathrow. The hotel was clean and quiet. I was not impressed with customer service. They were not very friendly or very responsive when we had a problem. You must take some form of transportation to get to the hotel; you cannot walk. You can take a taxi but it is generally more expensive and the taxi drivers normally do not want to make the short trip to the hotel. We used the hotel as our main base. It is cheaper than staying in London but it takes about an hour to get into central London on the tube from Terminal 1. That combined with the time to take the bus to the airport, the travel time is almost one and half hours. The last bus from the airport to the hotel leaves at 11:25pm so you need to give yourself plenty of time returning from London. We were delayed due to an accident on our tube line and we just made the last bus. The taxi stand was closed at that hour. Read more

The hotel was extremely close to the airport. The staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant was expensive and slow service. We had a few problems in the room: shower, television and hair dryer. We requested help but did not receive any assistance.

There are 4 Holiday Inns at Heathrow Airport and some are on the same street. Taxi driver took us to the wrong one, which I understand happens daily. Holiday Inn should think of some way to distinguish each one. Otherwise, hotel itself was very good.

We were in transit between France, UK and the US. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Heathrow airport. The sound insulation was excellent - couldn't hear a thing from the nearby runways. Room was fine, usual generic airport style. Looks as if the property had just changed hands, as most of the staff wore 'Trainee' badges. The restaurant […] offered only a buffet (due to remodelling). The selection was very limited and poorly prepared as well as extremely expensive. Since there are no other restaurants nearby, we had to make do. I found this hotel adequate for an overnight stay but as other reviewers have mentioned it is very difficult to find the entrance to the hotel. This is a serious drawback if you arrive via the bus late in the evening. Also breakfast is expensive for a Holiday Inn.

Reasonable option for a short stay but still not close enough to heathrow airport. Airport shuttle is reasonably expensive at 4 pounds/person for a 500m drive. Poor curtains made for early morning wake up due to light intensity.

We had an overnight stay here waiting for our connecting flight. The hotel was cheap and one of the closest to Heathrow Terminal 1. Getting to and from the hotel wasn't as easy as I had hoped (last thing at night and first early morning). Had to stay at Heathrow and picked this hotel. The entrance was on the back of the building and not so easy to find. If you arrive by shuttle you will not have this problem of course but I did not. Also, the road outside the entrance was oneway so in the morning (bad timing that was) when a truck was off-loading goods it created a small chaos and everybody […] had to back their way out from the one-way street now blocked by the truck!
