This lively, multicultural, residential and business area borders Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and offers a good choice of mid-price and budget accommodation and restaurants. I can not say enough good things about this establishment. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and the staff was very friendly and had our room ready in 5 minutes. The desk manager showed us to our room, which overlooked what use to be the queens stables and are now lovely houses, and had cofee delivered to our room because we were exhausted . We were […] told he put us there because it was away from the street and very quiet, which it was. Our room was spacious and extremely clean with turndown service every night. The hotel is 2 blocks from the Paddington train and underground station. We took the Heathrow express train from the airport ,which took 15 minutes and cost half of what a cab would have. The Paddington tube station has a connect to 4 separate lines which makes it very easy to get anywhere in London without switching trains. The neighborhood around the hotel has everything that you could ask for on vacation. There are numerous resturants, food stores and money exchangers all within a 2 block walk and is not in a tourist area which makes it peaceful. Hyde Park is a short walk away with a city tour bus stop if that interests you. We are already planning our next trip to London and will definately stay in the Paddington district again. Jag och min fru bodde på Royal Park Hotel tre nätter under en weekend i London. Hotellet ligger på promenadavstånd från Paddington där Heathrow Express går, likaså tunnelbanan. Kartan på Tripadvisor visade dock fel på hotellets läge, så vi hade först svårt att hitta hotellet då det är väldigt diskret skyltat. Servicen är mycket god, personalen var väldigt […] trevlig och tillmötesgående. Rummet var väldigt fint och var i gott skick, badrummet var även det fint och hade badkar/dusch. Några mindre nackdelar var att rören lät en del, det hördes ibland stegljud från ovanvåningen, och rummet var förhållandevis litet. "20 min. fra London Heathrow - 5 min fra Hyde Park"
Lille hyggeligt hotel med super god service. Hotellet er beliggende 5 minutter fra Paddington Station (på gåben) og herfra tager det kun 15 minutter med Express tog (20 min. intervaller)til Heathrow - terminal 3 - det er let. Hotellet har ingen restaurant, men i stedet 24 timers roomservice, hvor du bl.a. kan få serveret engelsk morgenmad (bacon, egg […] osv.) på værelset for mellem 10-15 pund. Man er tæt på Hyde Park / SoHo og for omkrig 10 pund i taxa komme til til fleste større attraktioner.
