"Great location and service"
Room was ready when we arrived. Check-in very efficient. Problem with credit card for deposit for incidentals with U.S. cards do not have chips and pins. They moved an additional bed into the room quickly when we needed it and then removed it when we were done. Room was very clean and neat. Bathroom a little dated but fine. "Not one of the best hotels"
Staying at this hotel was a shocker. The location was great but the inside of the hotel was shocking. The bathroom was the worst offender of all. The tub shower head and handle didn't work properly. You had to take a shower within 2 feet of the shower head, standing really close to the the front of the tub. Bed was the only comfortable thing in the […] hotel. "London treat!"
I liked everything about the room and hotel. It was very nicely furnished, large bathroom but we were on the first floor overlooking the street. At night/ morning it could be noisey. The lobby always had lovely floral arrangements, and the staff was very helpful. The bar was charming as was the whole hotel. It was a very good location with a small grocery […] store, drugstore and Starbucks across the street. The train station was directly across the street too, where you had acces to the Piccadilly and two other lines. We came from heathrow, so it was so convieniet accessing Piccadilly line from terminal 4 right to the hotel. There is a very good Italian restaurant down the street, but also others around, but we didn't eat at any them. I would stay here again!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Security at the Bailey's"
I was at the Bailey's for one night on February 20th 2013 on my way to a trip to India.Upon my return last night,I checked in again, this time for one week. As my friend and I were checking in , my wallet was stolen from my purse while I talked to the reception employee and signed all the required forms. They have absolute no security at the lobby,no […] doorman no bell captains. The reception personal were not attentive when these individuals got very close to me as I was checking in. Further more,I have spent quite a few hours calling my credit cards in the US from my mobile and had no help from anyone getting through information to obtain phone numbers for the respective cards. They have claimed it is not the hotel responsibility if guests are robbed. So far the general manager I requested to speak to has not made any contact with me. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect Stay"
Perfect location, and the staff is just so welcoming; really, really impressed. Truly, everyone, from the front desk to the doormen, to the bellhops -- quick to help, friendly, and accommodating of me and my two little girls. Shannon from the front desk is first rate, accommodating us with a smile. Well done! This is my new London hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Location & Friendly Staff"
The Baileys is my favorite London hotel. 2 steps from Gloucester Road underground station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow cannot be beat. The staff are always pleasant and the quality is very good. The only thing I would say about them that is not stellar is that they probably need to upgrade their furnishings in some of the rooms, but that is […] a very minor thing for me, but the reason I don't give it a 5 rating overall. If you are able to get the 12 pound voucher for the buffet breakfast, I think it's worth it. Some places across the street have an 8 or 9 pound breakfast but then if you add juice and coffee, you are at 12 or more. Internet access fee is a bit absurd at over 10 pounds for a 24 hour period. There's an internet cafe on Cromwell Road for 1 pound an hour. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for our stay."
For our stay this was the perfect hotel. The staff were as pleasant as could be. One of the concierges helped us with local transport questions like an expert. The front desk staff were friendly & made my daughter feel right at home. The location was excellent for our purposes. "Tight but pleasant quarters"
Very friendly and courteous staff, prompt service, excellent price, and convenient location right near a Tube stop made Baileys a very good pick for an older single woman traveling alone. The room was very small, as was the bathroom. But nicely clean. I reserved a double, but couldn't imagine both my husband and I existing in such a tight space. Only […] room for one person's suitcase and clothes in the tiny closet. "Great hotel to get to know London"
Excellent hotel, superbly located (Kensington is a wonderful place, easy and calm, but close enough to the tourist attractions). Tube station just in front of the hotel. The hotel is very accomodating, well kept, nicely attended, and has the feel of a chic small B&B meets a typical european vintage hotel. I would recommend it specially for couples or […] groups of people that like to discover both the normal atractions and a wider London. Walking the neighborhood is great, get an ale at the pub just across the street, go to Sloane Sqare (nearby), and walk all the way to Buckingham. museums, RAH, and Hyde Park, very close by. Bottom line, I would go back to the Bailey's Millenium, great for the price you pay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Our concierge was very helpful, finding us a spot for New Year's Eve dinner when the area was heavily booked up. Our front desk staff were great, always friendly and eager to share information or help with directions. "Could be better"
Great location, right near the Gloucester Road tube. However, the hotel isn't maintained well; the bathrooms are tiny, and the rooms were dimly lit. The only saving grace is the proximity to public transportation and a few good lunch/dinner spots within walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Well worth the money"
I enjoyed this hotel. It's conveniently located across the street from the Gloucester tube station. My room was good sized and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I love well run hotels like this that feel unique rather than part of a cookie cutter chain. While it may be part of a chain, the hotel itself maintains it's own personality. I wasn't […] a huge fan of the neighborhood. While safe, I didn't find a lot of good spots to eat and ended up going to Covent Garden for dinner most nights. Excellent hotel though. "convenient"
Hotel was very conveniently located across from Gloucester Rd. underground stop. Nice neighborhood--grocery stores nearby; several restaurants and a couple pubs as well. TV didn't work at first, but was quickly fixed after a call. We reserved a room with two twin beds, but when we arrived, we were told they didn't have any available. So, we had a king […] size bed, which was not our choice, but was okay. Used wireless internet for free in the lobby. Our room was cleaned daily without any issues. Overall, a very good stay. "Greeted With a Smile"
Staff was extraordinarily kind and went out of their way to assist. I had a old 20 Pound note which I was unable to convert because of weekend arrivals and departures. The Concierge swapped his own money for my old note so we could use the money before we left. We like the hotel very much and it is convenient to The Underground and we will stay there […] again. "Very good hotel at an attractive price."
Great location first of all. The Gloucester Road tube station was right across the street (as was a Starbucks.) The Victoria & Albert and the Natural History Museum were easy walks, as were the Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Park. The restaurant was outstanding. Actually not as high-priced as some other places with poorer food and service. Room was […] very comfortable and well-maintained. My daughter and I had a Club Room - two double beds. "Great hotel in a great location."
This is a lovely older, yet very well kept, hotel directly across the street from the Glouster Rd Piccadilly stop. It's an easy direct run from Heathrow and an easy trip on the Piccadilly, District or Circle line to nearly any place you'd want to go. The hotel is as nice as it looks on their site, the shops on the street have anything you might want […] and if you wish to have dinner, thre are a good number of good places within a few blocks. We had a basic room is reasonably spacious and very comfortable. Why only 4 instead of 5 stars? A light bulb blew at 8:45 PM Sunday night, called for a replacement, and again at 9:15-finally someone came up and replaced it about 9:25; room was prepaid, never went into the hotel restaurant (although it loooked nice). At checkout, the staff wanted to charge me for a breakfast. They checked it and found that I never was in the restaurant. Despite the two glitches, would absolutely stay again. "Perfect hotel and location"
My daughter and I just spent 8 nights at the hotel from July 17 checking out on July 23. We had a great time. The hotel was more than what I expected. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was great right across the street from the tube which made it very easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. We took the tube right from Heathrow. […] We had an early flight and arrived early in the morning around 7:30 a.m. I expected to stow the luggage and come back later for the room. But they actually had a room ready and it was wonderful to be able to rest after the long flight. The concierge was very helpful answering our questions about getting around, helping us book a day trip to Paris and a car to the airport as we couldn't take the tube to the airport as our flight was too early. There is a Starbucks, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Burger King across the street and an all night convenience store and a bank. There are also several other restaurants and a food store on the other side of the tube station. We've decided when we come back to London and this is where we will stay. It was home. "Great location - average hotel"
Loved this hotel for the location. Traveling by myself without my husband to direct me this hotel was very easy to get to from Heathrow - straight shot on the Piccadilly Line. Of course getting my very large suitcase up the two big flights of stairs from the tube line to the street level was not fun. Once in the hotel, I was talked into the 50 pound/day […] upgrade for the executive lounge, free wifi, and breakfast included. Not sure that that was worth the money, though. The buffet brunch wasn't anything special (service was non-existent), the lounge had sodas, chips, and fruit but that was about it, and the normal 24 hour rate for wifi was 20 pounds/day. I did get a larger room, though, and since I never saw the original size, it's hard to tell whether that would've made it a good deal. Spent three nights here (the second two my son joined me) and my son and I did have some of the free soda from the executive lounge. When housekeeping came in and made the beds and changed the towels, they never took away the empty soda bottles. I found that very strange. Since they were very small ones, we had several each day. By the time we checked out, we'd acquired quite the collection. The front desk staff was also lacking. I left messages for my son and even though he asked for them, he never got them. I called to see if he'd been by and they actually told me "yes". I asked if he was given the messages and they admitted he hadn't. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
