We had an overall excellent experience at this just renovated hotel. The staff ended up being VERY helpful with directions, accommodations, etc. We had... to add a roll in bed the first night for my daughter, which cost us a room upgrade, but the staff made every effort to help us with directions, taxis, best travel options, and many other details. The neighborhood is safe and pretty, with only a 10 minute stroll to Hyde Park. 1/2 block to the Tube. Modern bathrooms,, cool cotton sheets, comfortable bed. The first night our room was above the street and a bit loud. When we moved to our regular room, it was very quiet. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. by a Hotels.com guest on 07/08/11

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms small but well appointed with very comfortable beds. We requested a quiet room and our inward facing room was indeed really quiet. The bar closes at 11pm which is rather early if you're returning from a meal or the theatre and it would benefit from a real ale, ideally draught but alternatively bottled.

Staff are uninterested and aloof, rooms are a lot smaller than they look on the website and its just not worth the money. They advertised a room for 2 +1 and then we were charged for the extra person. Check your minibar bill on exit, I had an international adaptor plug on mine ?!

Allt var okej utom att vi låg och frös på nätterna. När vi bad om hjälp skulle de komma om fem minuter men efter en halvtimme var vi tvungna att gå och vi fick aldrig nån hjälp.

Helt nyronverat (aug 2011) och väldigt fina rum! Extremt bra läge med nära till tunnelbana och bussar. Dock väldigt långsamt Internet, och en hiss som innebar lååånga väntetider. Vi bodde på 1a våningen men det fanns inga trappor och spenderade således många minuter varje gång, väntandes på hissen.
