Horrible! Location great, lobby great but all deceiving.Bathrooms: need more refurbishing, I almost didn't want to put any of my things on the sink b/c it just seemed dirty. Bed: sheet was pushed to the very bottom of the bed. Not sure if the bed had even had its sheets changed or if they just forgot to make the bed. Heating and Cooling: not digital, […] needs updated, and didn't work. FIrst blew hot air then once "fixed" it didn't blow hot or cool air Food: I ordered room service from the chinese restaurant. It came up very fast but was not good, it was cold and very small portion for the cost. Location in Hotel: they put me in a room next to the stairwell and all through the night their service employees used that door to go in and out of and the door slammed every time. "Very uneven.."
Ok, so lobby looks nice for being this price class. Room has Ok size for being in central London. But, service is unheard of. So arriving they do not have anything but smoking rooms, and now we are talking really used smoking rooms. They stink. I requested to get a non-smoking but was stuck in the smoking room. Secondly reported tv not working wasn't […] fixed during four days. Lastly, lock on the door stopped working and only a main key would work, so the last day I had to have hotel staff to help me to get in to my door everytime going in and out. Breakfast is ok if you can get it included in the hotelprice. Location is great. I stay around Sloan Square at least ones a month but I will not return to Millienium Hotel Knightsbridge as there are several other hotels in the same price class that provides much more updated rooms and significantly better service. "not worth the price tag"
I paid £186 for a 1 night stay on 24th April. Check in was prompt and efficient however I discovered that my booking didn't include breakfast which for the price I would've expected. Also was told that there was an additional charge for wifi. My room on the 6th floor was small but nicely decorated. Bathroom was very compact and slightly run down but […] shower was powerful and that's usually all I'm really interested in. The major issue I had was with the noise level coming from the road below. Sloane St is a very nice area lined with expensive designer shops however it is very busy with constant traffic all night. Lots of sirens, buses and cars. The room didn't have double glazing and the windows didn't provide any sort of barrier from the noise at all. I stay in London regularly so I'm used to some degree of noise at night but this was very bad. I was kept awake for a good portion of the night and wouldn't consider staying here again because of that. The hotel looks impressive on entry and the staff are very polite. For the price the room is fairly small. The bathroom, again small, looks like it's not been updated for a good 10-15 years. The Chinese restaurant for dinner was extremely good quality, although expensive, you feel like you're getting what you paid for. Breakfast (in the same place), […] however, was appalling. Service was shoddy and lacked proper management. The hot buffet was not filled regularly, more in bulk so that when I got to the bacon it was like eating rubber. "Millenium"
I stay in London hotels every two weeks on business and while I have stayed at Millennium, Knightsbridge before, this will certainly be my last. The standard rooms are among the smallest and bleakest decor you will find in London, I was upgraded to an "Executive Room" and it is just as small, if two people had to occupy such a room it would be difficult. […] The bathrooms are the size of a cupboard, making it VERY difficult to even close the door ! The restaurant is pretty awful and the breakfast buffet a real joke. The only thing the hotel has going for it is the location....Expedia travellers would be much wiser to pick Millennium Gloucester road, not such a good location, but much more comfortable. "Not what it is made out to be"
The hotel is in a very nice area but it is not clean and every think in the the rooms are old. The carpet and the beding looks like from the 1980's. The ceiling is so low in the hallways and rooms I felt like I was going to hit my head and i am not that tall 6 Ft tall. I would rather stay at a 1 star hotel. "Would not recommend"
The hotel is in an excellent location very close to Knightsbridge tube and all the shops on Sloane Street. The concierge were also very helpful booking taxis etc, however the reception staff did not seem concerned about their guests at all. On checking in we were given a smoking room when we had specifically asked for a non smoking room. When we asked […] to change we were told the hotel was full. I found this extremely unacceptable as the room and the corridor stank of stale cigarette smoke. Also the milk in the fridge was out of date and the old fashioned tv had terrible reception and was impossible to watch. The breakfast was also below standard and not acceptable for the price. I got a really good deal on this hotel - and it was money well spent. A very nice location in Knightsbridge just a stones throw from Harrods. チェックイン後、エレベーターで部屋に上がる際のセキュリティがきっちりしており、カードキー管理のエレベーター利用となっていました。宿泊した部屋がたまたまそうだったのかもしれませんが、従業員利用の入口（部屋）の隣だったため、早朝のドアの開け閉めがかなりうるさかったのと、時間単位で隣の部屋との壁をカチカチ叩くような音がしていました。カーテンレールの吊るしの数とフックの数が合わず閉まらなかったので差し替えました・・・。12Fだったので窓際での作業が怖かったです。高層のホテルのためか部屋の窓が開かないので、入室の際匂いが気になりました。Genuine Expedia guest review
