"Very pleasant"
I only stayed for one night in this hotel. The location is very good. The rooms are standard hotel size. The bed was very comfortable. No parking, no help with luggage or even suggestions for where to park from reception and generally a rather authoritarian attitude with signs for no eating/drinking items not purchased in hotel. "Would Recommend"
We have been using this hotel since it opened when we go to Portrush to visit our family. It is the best hotel in the town and is very close to all the amenities, it is also very convenient for exploring the Antrim Coast or playing golf at Portrush or Portstewart golf clubs and only a short stroll down to the harbour for a pint of the black stuff at […] the Harbour Bar. Were staying here to attend wedding in Portrush. Room was beautiful with sea view, extremely clean and to a high standard. Bed was very comfortable with foam mattress topper, slept soundly! "Would not go back!"
We were travelling around Ireland for 15 days and this hotel was the most expensive and least desirable. The breakfast was included but it was the worst food we tasted on our trip. It almost seemed like they cooked it the day before and just hauled it out and reheated it in the morning. Even the coffee was awful and full of grounds. After experiencing […] the breakfast, we definitely did not go to the restaurant for dinner! WiFi was available but at for an additional charge. There were 'warning' signs telling guest they were NOT allowed to bring any food or drink to their rooms unless it was purchased in the hotel. There was a parking garage but only room for a dozen cars so we were forced to park on the street quite a ways from the hotel. The room was adequate but to see the ocean view you had to stand at the window. There is no air conditioning so it is necessary to open the window so it is not too stuffy. But it was on a busy street and very noisy at night. The hotel was very busy so others must like it but we would avoid Portrush if this is the only hotel available.
