The rooms had just been updated and were very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to hang the towels in the bathroom, there were no hooks or towel rails. Only stayed Tuesday to Friday, Tuesday and Thursday night were quiet but on Wednesday the rock music could be heard from 10:30 pm to 2:00 am. Checked in hassle free, with a great location next door to Lime Street station and friendly staff at the bar and check in desk. Our room was spacious and clean, although the aerial for the TV wasn't working well, although this wasn't a huge problem as we were going to be out most of the time. So far so good...We got back from our night our at approximately […] 2.30 to find our friends room had been flooded, with a massive leak from the ceiling covering their beds, bags and clothes in water. On discovering this we rushed to reception to tell the nightstaff whose response was to very unhelpfully give us a bucket and tell us to sort it ourselves! Noah and his ark would have been at home with the amount of water in the room, so a bucket wasn't going to touch it! Eventually he left his desk to come and take a look, finally realising the room was unhabitable. It turned out there was an elderly man in the room above who'd left the taps on all night, causing the leaking from the ceiling. There were no spare rooms, fortunately we had a free single bed in our room that our friends could share. The staff the next day were highly apologetic and provided us with a full refund, which we appreciated and understood as this was not their fault, however the response from the nightstaff could have been better. Overall the hotel was pleasant enough and so were the day staff, so we would still consider staying over again in the future as hopefully this was a freak occurrence! Read more

stayed in a big updated front room.It was very clean and had everything you need. Convenient for the Empire theatre and Lime St station. Noisey at times with hen parties returning home in the early hours,but we were in the centre of a city. Breakfast was basic but very nice.

Hotel is undergoing refurbishment so we took that into account. Little things like no drawers for clothing and no wast bin in bathroom. Also we could not get hot water although my daughter on another floor could This did not matter much as we were only staying a night. Daughter had a single room and said there was hair on the sheets on her bed. However […] hopefully once the refurbishment is completed things should improve. Staff were very friendly but completely misled about the room: the booking options I had was room with breakfast or without breakfast. The websites (both Expedia and the Hotel's) said that all rooms come with TV sets and power showers. My room had neither, only a bath! I could have gone without the TV but I needed fast access to a shower in the morning […] and was left with no choice but to buy a portable shower kit from Argos to hook up to the bath taps. Only one power socket in the room that worked and it was nowhere near the tables with the lamp and electric kettle. Also WiFi did not work in the hotel room. Unable to switch rooms as the hotel was fully booked. The only good thing about it was the price and the convenience of the location - right next to Liverpool Lime Street station. Read more

I was a little bummed at what I got in the hotel. I had spent a whole day traveling from Helsinki to London to Manchester then to Liverpool and while I very much liked how the hotel was near Lime Street Station it didn't have a shower. So I had to run a bath which took forever because it must have taken 10-15 minutes just for the hot water to kick in. […] I guess for the price it was alright, but if you are coming to Liverpool, spend a little more money walk from the train to the waterfront (10-15 minutes) and pay a little more for better digs, I know I will be doing that the next time I'm on Merseyside. nice enough hotel, shame i only had a bath no shower!! It was close to the main shopping centres, a bit of a walk to the albert dock but there are buses. The room was comfy but was directly over the beer garden and pub beneth the hotel, which wasn't to bad except if they had an event on which the nosie never seemed to end!!! There was a place called […] o2 academy which was a concert theatre right next door so if your thinking of going to see someone there brilliant but the noise was unbeliveable when there was a concert!!!!!!!! so didn't get much sleep!! The hotel had a bar that never seemed to be open but did have a pub just off it that was ok if you like footy lol the hotel i would say was ok and thats it. Read more

I stayed at Lord Nelson for 2 nights in may. This hotel is located at near the liverpool limestreet with taxis parked almost at the doorsteps of the hotel. At the other exit of the train station lies the main shopping thoroughfares. Theres plenty of eateries too.The Albert Dock is not too far away either On the downside, there is a discotheque next […] door. Bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel économique idéalement situé à Liverpool (juste à côté de la gare de Lime street). La chambre était confortable et bien entretenue comme le reste de l'hôtel à l'exception de l'ascenseur qui aurait bien besoin d'être changé. Le petit déjeuner, inclus dans le prix de la chambre, était par contre désolant.

Rien à dire sur la propreté.... Mais le confort est sommaire, pas de chaise dans la chambre, ni de bureau, ni de penderie, ni de rangement ! Cependant les lits sont très confortable, la chambre est spatieuse (donc place pour mettre ce qui manque) L'hôtel semble être conçu pour recevoir les participants aux soirées du pub le samedi soir.... Très bruyant […] ce soir là d'ailleurs. En semaine, il est fermé. Pas de wifi qui fonctionne malgré l'annonce et les ordinateurs à la disposition des clients sont payants avec fonctionnement aléatoire... L'accueil est à la limite de l'impolitesse. The hotel is well situated right next to the central station, and just a 5 minute walk from the city centre. The hotel itself is not in the best of conditions, and it took 10 mins before I had hot water in the shower. O Hotel nao oferece grandes instalações como por exemplo nao há TV no quarto e o banheiro fica numa área externa que em uma das vezes nao funcionou o banho quente. E o tipo de hotel pra ficar poucos dias, ainda mais se for numa epoca de iverno. Jeg var på hotellet rundt 23:45, dro morran etter kl 06:30. Billig, nært lime street station og bare 20 minutter ca fra flyplassen. Hôtel très bien situé, mais dont le niveau de confort et l'entretien laissent à désirer. Une discothèque au rez de chaussée fonctionne jusque tard dans la nuit le week-end... Petit-déjeuner spartiate. Le personnel est accueillant.
