Most people probably associate Liverpool the most with the 1960s pop group “The Beatles.” While the city's airport is indeed named after the late band member John Lennon, there is also more to this western English city. Named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004, Liverpool is known for its variety of architectural styles and for its system of locks and canals.see all hotels in Liverpool
Lovely hotel, very freindly staff, adjacent to Sefton Park- BeautifulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friendly, comfortable with a couple of qualms."
We had a few enquiries about our stay after booking online and the reception staff were very helpful, both on the phone and in person, very pleasant. We stayed in Room 10. We booked an executive double room, though the room was still rather small. The décor and general maintenance was good, comfortable. The room was fairly quiet when we returned to […] sleep, though was noisy earlier in the evening (9pm-10pm) due to a wedding beneath, not particularly unreasonable unless you are very sensitive to noise (or want an early night!) The view to the rear of the property was nice, the setting of the hotel in general is pleasant, with Sefton Park adjacent. My main qualm was the smell. We got a hint of it when we were at the hotel entrance, but there was really no avoiding it when we got in to our room. A very strong smell, like clogged or blocked drains (I actually thought it smelled like someone had used our toilet and left it unflushed, at first!) This dissipated later on, but never cleared. The water did not drain from the sink after use for some time, so we assume this was a issue with the drainage/plumbing in general. There was also an issue with the heating, the window was ajar and the radiator off, but our room was extremely warm, which interrupted our sleep. As we only had a very short overnight stay, it was endurable, but off-putting. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
