The rooms very very clean and the hotel in a fairly good location about 20 minutes from town, with a tesco express and pizza express nearby which was... handy. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very mediocre at best and items frequently ran out without being replenished. Also, it was a very hot weekend which made the rooms unconfortable as the air con did not seem to do anything but blow warm air! Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 30, 2012

We stayed at the hotel last night with three other couples for a charity ball. The location was ideal for our requirements. Our room, although clean was very run down - black marks in the ceiling etc. However the main problem was the shower which would not turn off. We hadn't noticed the problem on check-in as we went straight out after arrival but […] on our return to the room we noticed that the shower head had been placed over the waste on the shower tray and that it was constantly running water. This was extremely annoying as we could hear it all night. I reported this to the reception staff on check-out and received the following response "thank you for letting us know" . It was quite clear that somebody already knew about this with the positioning of the shower head. The rest of our party also complained about the lack of food at the breakfast buffet and received a similar uncaring response. It appears that the hotel is used a lot because of its location and quite frankly any problems are ignored or dismissed! Read more

Nok en gang et trivelig opphold på dette hotellet. Vi var 8 karer på en kulturell opplevelsestur og hadde hotellet som en base for reiser rundt i storbritania. Sentralt, men allikevel en rolig atmosfære. Eneste jeg kunne tenkt meg er å kunne oppgradert frokosten. Kommer tilbake igjen:)
