"Great for business"
Nice modern hotel in city close to station and restaurants and bars. Staff very welcoming and we even had a welcome drink which I understand they do on a regular basis once a week . Terrible service on the front desk! I had to walk into the back office to get someone to check us in. The lady did not even apologise and then could not find my booking! She called another lady who then found my booking but again no apology. Good location in the centre of Leeds however the room had been used and not properly prepared for the next guest. One of the towels had been used and one of the coffee cups had not been washed after use. Stayed for one night only as I had a gig at a nearby club. Hotel seemed quite new, very modern reception area. It's really close to the centre of the city. Everything is within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay but I had to go to reception 3 times to get my key reactivated, the bar and restaurant staff, though friendly and polite, were the slowest I think I have ever come across, and there was no shower cap in the shower, which was quite inconvenient. Bright entrance and reception with friendly staff, car park small and a bit tight though. Rooms have a disinctly euro feel thanks to white grit finish walls, everything else about the rooms as one would expect, clean bathroom with good double head showers a nice touch, daft shaped wash basin though. Bed comfortable enough but I had a strange feeling […] of my head being lower than my feet, a colleague has also reported this sensation, weird. Hotel gym is small but useable with two tv screens. Restaurant food OK if over priced, but excellent bread in both quality and quantity, grilled Lemon Sole with carrots tasty but slightly overcooked.
