East View was a gem. It is a comfortable and pretty place to stay when visiting Hadrian Wall country. It is convenient to the AD 122 bus to places on... the Wall. Julie, our hostess, welcomed us and we felt at home for our stay. The breakfasts will long be a happy memory. We were "spoiled for choice" as our Engish friends say.
