"Nice hotel"
It is a nice, VERY OLD hotel. Though the picture is a bit misleading (makes you think you are in a castle, you are actually across the street from the castle), it is still nice. There was no air-conditioning, and it was about 80 degrees outside. They provided a fan, which made it much better. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff was very […] friendly. "Reasonable enough hotel"
Reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Reception area including the bar is inviting and modern, though some areas of the hotel need updating! Breakfast was nice, albeit a bit cold when it got to our room...probably due to no plate covers. Our bathroom was dated and a bit creepy I thought. Not somewhere you'd want to take a relaxing soak. […] It did us fine for our purposes, but the old windows didn't close properly and despite the secondary glazing we could still hear noise from the pubs in the lane underneath and the late night revellers making their way to the taxi rank through it. "Centralt beliggenhed, men..."
Hotellet ligger lige ved stationen og i gå afstand til byens centrum, restauranter og shopping. Men standarden var lav når man tager i betragtning at hotellet er firestjernet. En dag manglede der et sæt rene håndklæder og en anden dag manglede der flydende sæbe. Receptionen var dog kun leveringsdygtig i fast håndsæbe.
