Checked in approx 3pm, room very cold. thought heating would come on early evening, we were attending a wedding, returned to room approx 12.30am to find room still very cold with no heating in bedroom or bathroom. Spent uncomfortable night in freezing cold room. Didn't complain when we checked out as we were with other wedding guests. E-mailed hotel […] when we got home,manager replied that had we complained someone would have come to bleed radiators. (Find this hard to believe at 1am) Surely if cleaners had been in the room they would have notified management there was a problem. "Too tired...... Needs updating"
This hotel is very tired. The staff are not customer focus. I arrived late and my room was freezing. Clearly nobody thought about going to my room to turn the radiator on before I got there.... The decor is c1970 and the fixtures and fittings are very tired. Time to close, rebrand, refurbish and reopen I think.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
