Home of the iconic Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Rock, Pleasure Beach, the Illuminations, Kiss-me-quick hats, and donkey rides, Blackpool has been a popular holiday destination since the mid-nineteenth century. With its long sandy beach, rollercoasters, and fish and chip shops, it is still very well visited. Known as the gay capital of the North, it is also extremely popular with the LGBT community.see all hotels in Blackpool
Nice clean room and excellent breakfast, what more do you need ?? Would certainly stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great all-round hotel at fair price"
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area. Was arriving quite late in the evening but was met at reception and given all info re: breakfast times, checkout times etc & shown to room. The (single) room was on the smaller side but very clean and perfectly adequate for me personally, having tv, kettle, decent bed & en-suite. Iron, ironing […] board and hairdryer were all available from reception. Decent selection of beers and pool table in the bar area. I stayed two nights and cooked breakfasts came out promptly and identical both days despite being cooked by different chefs. Very nice breakfast with good choice of cereal, toast and jam/marmalade, yoghurt & tea and coffee also. Only complaint about my stay was being woken at 4-5am both nights by people shouting on the street below after a night out, but a closed window would solve that, & not the hotel's fault. Just a short walk from Blackpool North railway station also. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great locationa nd fantastic staff and service"
Very good hotel for a 3 star. Very helpful staff and the breakfast was very good clean hotel with excellent location - very near the beach. Infact will be visiting Blackpool again and staying at the same hotel....have asked friends and family to stay there too....the hotel is clean but its the care the staff showed that made the difference.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Thankyou for a pleasant stay"
Great location. Easy access to all amenities in the area, On the main road but rooms quiet so no disturbance,Ourselves and another couple stayed for one night whilst visiting the Opera House, Both double en-suite rooms were adequate for short stay, having everything you really needed for just spending the night. The bathroom gave a lovely surprise […] being a good size and having both bath and shower. The staff were very welcoming from the moment you walked through the door and could not do enough for you, making you feel right at home. The breakfast was brilliant, full English along with everything else you could imagine, cereals, toast, yogurt etc - spoilt for choice. We look forward to staying on our next visit to Morecambe Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"At the rigt price- Great Hotel!"
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and although the first time was a reasonable price of £36 for two nights (single occupancy, twin bedded room) this stay was £48 for 2 nights ( Double room, single occupancy) I do believe it can be a lot more as I have tried to stay here at other times and the price was much higher. For the price I […] think this Hotel was extremely good value for money. The service at front of desk was superb and the young lad carried my bags up to the room and went out of his way to help with the Wifi. The room had all that was needed..lovely bath, filled up quickly..although the bathroom tiles could do with grouting, a lick of paint here and there but nothing to spoil your stay. Maybe a few more milks and coffee for the drinks. The breakfast was excellent! Full English with whatever you wanted.some hotels will buy in bulk cereal & stuff and put them in containers but there was an array of individual boxes of kellogges cereals, about 8 types, and individual pots of jams and marmalade...instant and ground coffee etc.Very friendly kitchen staff and although I wasn't there on a holiday trip the people that were there seemed to have had a laugh with them and you could tell that they had contributed to their holiday experience. Overall I would recommend this Hotel....very near to the town centre, short walk to the sea.Just a warning, dreadful singing in bar opposite, if I were you I would go and show them how its done!!! good cheap hotel breaky good beds good location goodGenuine Expedia guest review
We were welcomed and treated very nicely by all members of staff. The bed was absolutely amazing and so comfortable, as well as the full English breakfast! The only issue was the noise outside the street but it was not enough to keep us awake! I'd happily come back!!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Value for money in great location -"
This is a typically Blackpool B&B but at the higher end of the scale. Staff were very friendly, breakfast fresh and plentiful and bedrooms whilst small, had everything you could want. Our room was immediately above the bar but if you want peace and quiet, you shouldn't be in Blackpool on a Bank Holiday weekend! We would certainly return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent value for money. Good service - would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lovely hotel, brill location!"
We stayed bank holiday Sunday for one night. There was no parking at the hotel but just down the facing street was a pay and display which cost £3 for 24 hours! Hotel was lovely and clean, bathroom was a bit small but fine seeing as there was only 2 of us in the room. Brilliant location for Blackpool town centre, took us 5 minutes to walk to Talbot […] Road (where all the main bars/shops are). Would definately stay here again :) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quick pitstop stay in Blackpool"
I recently stayed at The Trentwood Hotel with my boyfriend for few nights while in Blackpool. The Trentwood was very cheap & comfortable, perfect for what we wanted. The staff were very polite and helpful, our room was quite basic but it was comfortable.Small ensuite and tv in room, very clean. The hotel is set on three floors so be prepared if your on the […] top floor. There is a small bar in the hotel serving a wide variety of drinks and a pool table for £1 per game. The breakfast included is very fair; a choice of cereals, toast, tea and coffee also a full cooked breakfast or beans of toast or scrambled egg etc. This is a perfect hotel for a few nights in the town, esecially if like us and only needed somewhere to stay inbetween busy days out at the pleasure beach. It is only a short 5 minute walk into the town centre where most high street stores are based. The pleasure beach is a few miles further down the beach so better to drive or get a bus.. The hotel owner told us it would take an hour or so to walk it. The only problem we found with The Trentwood was the same as many in Blackpool and that was that there was no parking with the hotel. Over the weekends you can park in the road for free but the best option is too park in a near by secure supermarket carpark that is locked over night as we found small damage to our car after a night in the street due to drunk youths in early hours of the morning. Apart from this it was a very pleasent experience, we would go back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
