"Not value for money"
Hotel was built in world war 1 to house solders I think, looked like it anyway. Was woken up by workers banging and drilling non stop at 9am. Just wasn't a nice place. "knackered rooms"
rooms are very neglected, showing a lot of mdf fittings, bathroom sink is sloping like a total wreck. fittings are very battered like rusty towel rails . been to alot of 3 star hotels in my life but this one is just worse.been moved to second room after the first one was so noisy but the second one was noisy as well. receptionists at night were hidden […] behind screen, and all we could hear was a girl giggling away, like she was in a cheap night club. in all honesty this hilton is needing a lot of changes before it live up to its name. i had been in many a hiltons in my time in the far east, but the rooms on this one resembles a derelict hotel, thats waiting to be demolished. i wish i read reviews before i booked it. i will never touch it with a barge pole.rooms we had was in 2nd then on 4th,they are all hideous and should not be recommended at all,you had been warned.
