The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance from the train station, good of you need to catch a very early train . Manchester's city... centre is not too big anyway, so one can walk 10-15 min. If you choose to take cabs to downtown , the fares are not too expensive, given the distances. The hotel has a SPA . Also ( it had to be said for all the Morrissey & The Smiths fans out there) the hotel is very close to Star & Garter , a music venue from where the Moz Bus tours are starting. by Cori from New York City on 06/06/13

We had an amazing stay, we could see the platform to Manchester Piccadilly from our hotel window, showing that the proximity to amenities was spot on. Room Service was excellent when we required them they were straight over.

This is an imposing modern hotel with seemingly endless numbers of rooms. However, the staff, decor and general feel make it seem quite a cosy place to stay. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed very comfortable. Our shower was hangover-busting amazing! We stayed one night after a gig at the Apollo which is just a few minutes walk away. Shops, […] bars and restaurants are equally as close, although in the other direction! The downsides; the parking is £17 for 24 hours, breakfast is £15 pp and the bar charges around £4.20 a pint, it does seem like money is being siphoned out of your wallet at every turn. However, the parking is secure and in the city centre so probably is on par with the usual NCP / Q-Park prices, as you get 24 hours so it leaves time to go shopping after breakfast. The bar is nicely decorated with table service, but is still overpriced. £15 for breakfast made me laugh, we went to a lovely cafe in town and had an amazing breakfast for half that with change for lunch! Overall, I would stay again and happily recommend it. Read more

Could be good, but isn't: numerous problems including uncontrollable air con, shower thermostat control fell off repeatedly, empty minibar fridge and no water in the room, awful pillows, and one of the two lifts seemingly out of order for some time meaning long long long delays as the residents of nearly 400 rooms over 8 floors queued to use the one […] remaining lift... Stayed at this hotel previously, rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Great service however hotel needs to sort out its lifts. Long waits as one lift was out of service. This has happened before. Otherwise ideal location and good customer service

This hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the main train station Piccadilly. It's about 5minutes walk from Canal Street which has bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is very nice, rooms are spacious, clean and have large windows with views of Manchester. I would definately recommend this hotel for a trip to Manchester.

Hotellet ligger tæt på Manchesters banegård, men dette er ikke centrum. Hotellet virker lidt lydt. Hotellet har noget British Telecom WIFI, hvilket er urimeligt dyrt. Hotellet er har dog gammeldavs internet.

Loistava valinta kenelle tahansa. Kahden hengen Double Standart huone oli todella iso ja loistavassa kunnossa. Huoneen siivous pelasi hyvin - ehkä liiankin - se käytiin siivoamassa jopa kaksi kertaa päivässä... =) Huone oli 5. kerroksessa ja mitään häiriöääniä ei kuulunut. Suosittelen!

Veldig bra hotell med trenings muligheter og SPA. Hotellet ligger nærme Picadelly tog stasjon som jeg syntes var vedlig snedig. Ikke langt å gå til shopping sentrene.
