"The hotel is more suitable for conferences"
The room was too small (you can't move inside after laying your suitcase), the furniture was ordinary but with no enough stowage or closet, no air condition (just heater), no ventilation method in the room (you must open the window to refresh the air but take care from several kinds of insects which will get inside the room with the open window), no […] privacy as the room walls are too thin (you can hear any sound in the next room clear), also no privacy in entrance as you must pass through the conference area, elevator need maintenance, room service team are not qualified to deal with guests. No transportation near to the hotel location (I rented a car) P.s I didn't check the breakfast as I was fasting. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Breakfast is bigger than the rooms"
Very basic rooms, Had originally booked a twin for me and my mum on a shopping trip. Luckily we were only staying the one night. The room we were given had a double bed more like 3 quarter and not enough room to swing a cat. After much debate the manager offered us a two single rooms same size as a double. There was a lot of dust on the headboard and […] I found a insect trap from 2012 left under the bed. Very uncomfy hard mattress. Rooms overpoweringly warm caused by heating pipes even though I had turned my radiator off. Based by Manchester University. The rooms are very much l like student accommodation. Receptionist barely smiled. Rooms are overpriced. Best bit was the breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A conference center rather than a business hotel"
This establishment is attached to manchester University and is used for external couses and conferences, with largest groups attending. it is not geared up for theindividual business traveller for instance; breakfast does not start until 7:30 but other than that it is in a good location, a building with character and offers good value for moneyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
breakfast very poor. hotel needs upgrading - very tiredGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Although the hotel was exceptionally clean & the food was good the size of the rooms leave a lot to be desired - they are really single rooms with a double bed in . Gave a very claustrophobic feelingGenuine Hotels.com guest review
