The hotel was very nice we didn't get an amazing view as our window looked out into a very small courtyard but the room itself was very clean comfortable... and we really enjoyed our weekend. There was a works Christmas party in the hotel in the evening, this was not intrusive but instead all good fun and the bar staff worked really hard to make sure all guests were attended to. The only disappointing element to our stay was breakfast. A buffet style breakfast was provided rather than a cook to order this would have been suitable except the hotplate was not big enough to cope with demand and some items were not hot at all. Fried eggs were cooked to order but by the time they were delivered we had eaten the rest of the cold breakfast we were also told they had run out of beans which meant the breakfast was both cold AND dry as no substitute was provided. Overall we had a really good stay and the staff couldn't do enough for us. I am sure if we would have asked for fresh breakfast items we would have got them. Thank you for a great stay.
