The old walled area by the port is the nicest part of St Malo, crowded with interesting cafes and characterful mostly fish restaurants.Parking near the hotel is not straightforward -- didn't use the hotel's own facilities -- but that is the price you pay for being in the heart of things. The hotel was very clean and the room modern and comfortable. This was a perfect over night stop for us before the ferry and ideal for a little exploration of the old city for the evening we had in St Malo.
