Disneyland Paris® Park is just 10 minutes from this hotel via complimentary shuttle. The shuttle also goes to the Marne-la-Vallée station, where guests can take the 35-minute train ride to Paris. We had a great time in Disney Euro. However, the employees were not able to answer our questions all the time and the ones who's badges said they spoke english did not always understand what we needed. The only ice was in the bar and they gave it to us in two plastic cups. Like everywhere we went in France the AC was not very strong. The "Free" wifi […] was only in the bar or in front of it. "If I had to do it again...."
The cost of the hotel is slightly less than the Disney resort, at least as far as room fees - but the costs ON SITE are basically the same that you'd pay at a Disney hotel. 15 euro Hamburgers at the bar, etc. So there's no real savings once you arrive. The hotel does have a free shuttle, which is difficult to catch at peak times because it is shared […] among multiple resorts - people were pushing and shoving so badly, we had to wait for 3 shuttles to go by (they come every 20 minutes) before we could get one to the park. Having said that, the SERVICE at this hotel is incredible - everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. But in the end, if I had to do it over again - we'd stay at the park and give ourselves the luxury of walking to and from the park, resting at the hotel, and avoiding shuttles, parking, and inconvenience. "Dream Castle Hotel- Disneyland Paris"
The hotel is very convient to the park- with free shuttle service, major perk! You can also use the shuttle to get to the train station at no charge and then take the train into the city. I have traveled a good deal in Europe and for a European room it was rather large. A very pleasant surprise. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because I do […] not think it is up to par with other Disney resorts. The shower did not drain properly, the metal soap dish was broken with exposed sharp metal edges (but the tub was huge!) and the only shelf in the closet was broken- if you placed anything on it the shelf closet would collapse. Also, the restraunt was grossly over priced. It was less expensive to eat at the nicer restruants in Downtown Disney. I don't mind paying for quality, but better quality was simply less expensive as far as dining. Overall though this is nice hotel and I would be willing to stay there again. "Good overall, but a few minor quirks"
We recently stayed at the Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland. For my older daughter (4yo), it was a dream.....there was a ball pit, many rides (2E a piece), games, a playground, a jogging path around a large pond, and a small pool with a very small slide.....which was perfect for a family with young kids. All of the staff was friendly (though the hostess […] at the buffet breakfast seemed overwhelmed). You can get park tickets at the hotel (I highly rec doing this), which saves you a lot of time once you actually get to the park. They do offer dinners at the hotel, but I would save your money and make reservations at Mickey's Cafe in Disney Village (the kids can meet a ton of Disney characters) plus the food/location is much better. There is a free shuttle that runs every 20min from the hotel to the parks (until midnight). You can also drive and park for free at the park using your hotel room key (make sure you follow signs for Disneyland park NOT Disney Village...you will have to pay for parking at the later). Our overall experience was great, though for the price I thought the rooms could use a little sprucing up and pool towels should be free and available at the pool (vs using your own bath towel or having to pay 2E at the spa). Also, the eggs at breakfast are a bit sketchy, but other than those minor things we had a wonderful stay. "Nice Disneyland Hotel"
The tram to Disneyland was very convenient. It only went to four hotels so it got you to the park pretty quick. There was a very nice bar area where we relaxed and enjoyed a light meal. The hotel was in a magnificent setting. The kids loved the room and the bunk beds! The grounds were gorgeous and the small town of Magny Le Hongre was simply gorgeous. Hotel was really great but getting to the Disney park was a challenge, you get the free no.54 bus from outside the hotel, we are the last stop of 5 hotels in a row which the bus accomodates so you can't get on it!!!! you wait for up to an hour or more and then it's a real push getting on..... getting back is just the same. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel as we really do like it. Our only negative comment from our last visit was with regard to reception. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 19.40 and didnt get into our room until 20.35. Again in the morning when we tried to check out we just gave in and posted our key. Hotel was 4* but some marks on bedroom carpet and some mould marks in sealant around bath ( only minor). Cost of coffee / drinks in machines / bar were very expensive in some cases double what we'd pay in UK. Kids entertainment in lobby expensive ! The need to ay extra for towels at sauna etc.. Breakfast had plenty of choice for all on a buffet style. […] Only minimal ques in a morning. Quality was lacking though with cold sauté potatoes, tasteless scrambled eggs and re- heated beans, sausages poor quality. Good location if Disney with about 10 min transfer time by free shuttle bus. Very nice hotel. Comfortable, child friendly (as you would expect from location) and clean and well looked after. Very good hotel, well placed for our Disneyland holiday. The staff were very pleasant and more than happy to help. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. The pool was nice though could have been a few degrees warmer. The breakfast was very good and a lot of choice. Fine for what one wants to visit the parks. Main entrance hall is fun for chillaren with games to play. Food ok as buffet that is easy for children. This is the second time we're back and we have also recommended this hotel to our friends in the past. Overall, a good hotel to stay in. Our main feedback was that the room thermostat was erratic and was first blowing out very hot air, and then very cold air. We could not fix it. An engineer was called and he took some time to arrive and we didn't […] want to wait for subsequent calls so just tolerated it. I'm sure the hotel would send an engineer up if we called, but again, we didn't want to stay in the room to wait. The thermostat was visibly broken so I think perhaps they could have changed it completely to begin with to avoid such problems. A very comfortable room in a hotel that is convenient to Disneyland. Had to drive or catch a free shuttle to the park as its too far to walk. Breakfast very average but plentiful.But found the evening meal to be very expensive and of poor quality. It was 29 euros per person with drinks extra. There was lots of food in the buffet but didn't really find […] it tasty - all about quantity not quality. Had to pay full price for my teenage disabled son who ate a few chicken nuggets,chips 2 bread rolls and 2 yoghurts. But biggest rip-off was his small apple juice which cost 7 euros 50!Thought they would have made it more competitive as there are lots of restaurants in Disney. On our last day we returned from the park at about 9.30pm and our room wasn't locked!The maid hadn't given us clean towels or replenished our toiletries. Luckily nothing was taken from our room as we were right at the end of a corridor but not happy that someone could have easily have entered our room. The hotel is everything we wanted - close to Disney, comfortable and child friendly. It's very well presented and the staff are attentive. The only downside was the quality of the breakfasts - eugh! For a day at Disney you need a good breakfast to set you up. Unfortunately there were awful sausages, dismal eggs, and tepid tea. Those from the mainland […] continent seemed well catered for - plenty of salad and cold eggs and meat for breakfast (??!!?!) but those after a cooked brekky were sadly disappointed. We really enjoyed our stay at the Dream Castle Hotel. The staff were excellent - extremely polite, efficient and helpful. The rooms were spacious enough for a family of four and my children loved their bunk bed with the curtain that pulled across.
