"Beautiful Hotel, But Far From Paris"

If you're going to Disneyland Paris, be aware that this hotel does not offer any kind of shuttle service to the park. The shuttle that does take you to the nearby train station (at very reasonable 10 min intervals) stops working as of 8:30 PM. Although the physical side of the hotel was ok, the service at breakfast was terrible - big queues to be seated and eventually when we did get a seat there seemed to be a shortage of basic things like bowls for cereal, and not a fork to be seen! The hotel have helpful staff and at reception are all too happy to explain things in English. Fittings and furnishings in the rooms to a good standard, and the provision of a hotplate microwave and sink was most useful.If you are booking here and intend to use this facility, it makes sense to bring your own saucepan, plates and cutlery otherwise you […] have to pay a hire charge for these items. THe layout of the hotel is slightly strange in that to get to the breakfast room, you have to walk a long way to the end of what must be the longest corridor in the hotel, to then ride the lift, which holds max of around 8 people, up one floor. Bizarrely, there is no other access to the restaurant! We did not try the restaurant for eating, nor the swimming pool which is free to guests, but it did look very inviting. As a stop-off for visiting Disneyland, it is hard to beat as prices rise when you get nearer to the Disney complex itself, and this was less than 10 mins by car, or 3 stations on the railway. The station is also fairly near to the hotel; maybe 15 mins walking; we left the car at the station on the occasion we took the train into Paris itself (about 40 mins), but during the day the hotel runs a free shuttle service. Overall this hotel was okay, close to Disney and easy to find. Our non smoking room smelt badly of smoke and the staff were not approachable. Værelset var fint. Rent. køleskab, og en enkelt kogeplade...dog hverken krus, sevice eller andet at spise med/af. Og kun en stol på værelset... Nous avons réservé une chambre Duplex. L'accueil était super. La chambre était spatieuse, confortable. Les trois points négatifs que j'ai regroupé sont : La piscine me semble petite, elle parraissait plus grande, de plus elle est assez froide. La baignoire : n'essayez pas de prendre un bain, on ne peut pas la remplir. Au bout de quelques minutes elle […] devient froide et glaciale. J'ai demandé des explications à l'accueil, la jeune femme m'explique qu'il faut attendre que la bombonne d'eau se remplisse. Mais on se sait pas combien de temps il faut attendre. Biensûr, ce n'était pas précisé à notre arrivée. On a donc dû se laver avant de libérer à 11h à l'eau froide. La chambre est propre sauf sous le canapé lit du rez de chaussée de la chambre duplex.
