Description

Elegant boutique hotel across from Pantheon

This elegant 3-star boutique hotel is set in an 18th-century building overlooking the Pantheon. You'll be right in the action of trendy Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and a 10-minute walk from medieval unicorns at the Cluny Museum. If you prefer gargoyles, you're 1 km from Notre Dame.

Hôtel des Grands Hommes has 31 designer guestrooms, all furnished with ornate wallpaper, antiques and rich fabrics. WiFi, cable TV, and a minibar are convenient modern updates. Morning room service is especially nice if your room has a terrace overlooking the Pantheon.

The lobby and lounge are elegantly outfitted with luxe marble, art, and antiques. A gourmet breakfast includes Iberico d’Arrosagaray ham, Ossau-Iraty cheese and Brûlerie des Rois Mages coffee. The classical lounge is a great spot for a glass of French wine.

Hotel was under renovations and we were not told of this before we arrived as would of cancelled. My girlfriend was 6 months pregnant and they had no lift working and if we wanted breakfast we would have had to go to the hotel next door. Left after one night and moved to another hotel for the same price but was better. Staff were very helpful and were […] fione with us cancelling the rest of our time there and were happy to help with anythign we needed but the hotel should not have been open to guests. Read more
