If you are looking for quaint this is it. The entrance looks like a store front ,but when you step inside the lobby is charming and so is the very limited... staff. The hotel is small so it only needs someone to man the desk and a cleaning staff. And it is quite and peaceful . No commotion. Considering the age of the hotel ,it is in good condition and very well kept. The room was very small by most standards,a little cramped, but it was clean and comfortable and we had a great view of the steeple and spires of the ancient church accross the street and a clear shot of the Effiel Tower lit up at night. Spectacular. The Hotel is on a main street but right across are the winding back streets of the French Quarter. If you want glamor and modern this is not the place for you, a no snob zone, but it is a good value for what it is and the location is great for walking to anywhere of interest in the left bank and St. Germain.
