The streets southwest of the Arc de Triomphe comprise exclusive residential properties, embassies, dynamic modern architecture and smart restaurants. Riverside landmarks are the grandiose Palais de Chaillot in its fountain gardens, the Palais de Tokyo and the Maison de Radio-France (free concerts). Beyond the Périphérique, the Bois de Boulogne is a park with lakes and plentiful leisure amenities but is best avoided after dark.

"Great service"
The hotel is close to Eiffel Tower and Trocadero. It is clean and the staff is superb. They were able to respond to all my requests in an efficient manner and with great attitude making me feel very comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect location for a hotel in Paris"
The hotel is in a perfect location, easily accessible to tourist attractions as well as transportationto other locales. The staff is lovely, very helpful. Breakfast included is wonderful. Only complaint is the beds are not very comfortable, but perhaps we are accustomed to American hotels.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overpriced"
The room was too small for the price and the hotel didn't look like a 4 star hotel (more like a firm 3 star).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic experience"
The staff and the hotel are wonderful. Could not have asked for a better location. The only down side of the hotel is the rooms are small but that is customary in Paris. Again, the staff is marvelous, extremely helpful. We had a great time and will be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice people but too far from everything."
This hotel is good for a first time visit. The staff are all from India or Sri Lanka. They are extremely helpful and attentive but a couple of them did not speak English very well and were not very familiar with Paris ! The rooms are tiny (but this is everywhere in Paris) but they are very clean. The showers are extremely narrow and I'm a thin guy ! […] The water splashes everywhere. No fridge or minibar in room so thats a bummer in case you like to have cold water handy. The location of the hotel is weird because It's on a very quiet residential street which is a good thing but there is NOTHING around it. It's a lengthy walk to get to the closest store, restaurant or subway. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cramped in Paris"
Hotel location was convenient to sights and metro stations...but more importantly, queen size bed and non smoking room guaranteed. Downside, Paris hotel rooms are TINY...so a queen size bed barely left enough room to move around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location in 16th Arrondisement."
Room reasonably well equipped, very small (not unlike many in paris). Good, clean bathroom. Hallways extremely dark and poorly decorated. Reception with poor image: reception is also bar (liquour bottles in the wall and sink next to check in computer). Poor internet service, unique password required but often not working. Very good location. Walking […] distance from the Trocadero and Eiffel tower and even Champs Elisees. Personnel could be more friendly but overall, ok. Not a bad option. Room is small but very clean. The people at front desk very accommodating and helpful. Near to tocadero garden. Near Eiffel tower. It's a nice experience. It's safe to walk around.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Paris, Plaza Tour Eiffel"
excellent location - short 10 minute walk to the eiffel tower - yet, in a quiet residential area close to grocery (wine, chocolate, cheese, baguette, & croissant store), local restaurants (scheffer****), & local cafe. perfect starting point for sightseeing, & then quietly relaxing at the end of a busy day. premium rooms come with a view of eiffel - […] ours did not, although i stuck my head out the window & got a nice view of the top of the tower. sitting room in lobby turned into our late nite wine & cheese cafe after both families put the teenage kids to bed. the staff pleasantly accommodated us with glasses & silverware. At 10:00 p.m. walk 50 yards & watch the Eiffel lite up. 2 years ago we stayed up the street on Kleber Ave at the Soffitel Baltimore - Plaza Tour Eiffel is just as nice, while saving 33% of the cost!! rooms are small, but typical of europe. breakfast was expensive 20 euros - offering an optional "coffee & croissant only" at a lower price would have been nice, but ...can't have everything - this was close Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic spot, excellent service!"
This is a wonderful place to stay! Yes, the room is small, but that is the norm in Paris. The bed was luxuriously comfortable. The bath was very functional with the exception of the shower door. It does not do a good job of keeping water in the shower as the door is just not wide enough to properly cover the area. Not a huge deal though. The location […] is fantastic! The area seems more residential so you get a better glimpse into everyday Paris life than just having tourists surround you. I saw kids leave for school with their backpacks in the morning. There is a small food market, a corner pub/coffee bar, restaurants, etc. Again, mostly filled with locals too. Trocadero Circle is five minutes walk for the best Effiel Tower view in the city plus more good restaurants. Also the Metro stops here or you can walk five more minutes to the Siene and the boat tours near the Effiel's base. The RER train to Versailles is also only a 10 minute walk and the Arc de Triumph maybe 20 minutes tops. Or you can rent bikes a block away form the hotel. The location was quiet too, not a bunch of cars passing all night long. The gym is decent, the breakfast is good but pricey. I prefer to venture out on the streets and hit a cafe or walk-up stand along my path for breakfast. The staff was very gracious and helpful, especially Daniel whom was always smiling and there to serve. The ultimate recommendation that I can give is that I would stay here again in the future. "Plaza Tour Eiffel"
Convenient location near Trocadero Metro Station. Area is safe, quiet, comfortable and typical 16th arrondissement Parisian feel of the area. Hotel is good, however, the 4 star "Luxury" category is a little exaggerated. Room with a double bed is extremely small, almost uncomfortably small for 2 people. For Paris prices, this hotel is a good option.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic Stay in France"
The Plaza Tour Eiffel is a block from the Trocadero metro station in district 16. The first thing to note is that district 16 is upscale and safe, so walking to and from the metro at midnight is no issue (and you'll pass two embassies). The second thing to note is that you're close to two sets of great local restaurants - in Mexico circle and Trocadero […] circle. So there's no need to travel more than a block for great meals. The bakery next door is incredible as well. The third is that the accommodations were fantastic. The room was great, bed was comfortable, staff were very helpful (and spoke great English). While we heard that six floor rooms see the Eiffel tower, room 100 (first floor) has a large bathroom, which was a big win! We could not have been happier. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel"
Stayed four nights with my wife and we were pleased with the hotel. The hotel is about 5 minutes from a metro station in a quiet residential neighborhood. We had a queen size bed, which was difficult to find at other hotels in this price range. The room itself was a bit small, as expected for a room in Paris. The frnt desk staff were very helpful and […] friendly and spoke perfect English. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Awesome hotel, service and location in Paris!"
We had such a wonderful time in Paris and much was thanks to the lovely hotel we stayed in and the wonderful staff. It made our experience more that we ever expected. Great rooms and service. But what stands out was how helpful and qualified the staff was - from booking tickets for access the Eiffel Tower, to drawing on the maps and giving us directions, […] to calling for reservations etc etc etc. They were also so friendly and really made you feel welcome and at home. We loved our stay and will definitely go back. The location was also perfect with easy access points to all the main attractions. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! "Good location, sub-par hotel."
Booking 4 star hotel we expected a fairly reasonable accommodation. What we got was a room so tiny we could not open 2 suitcases at the same time. There was no luggage rack. There is no mini-bar. I could not get through to the concierge/receptionist/bartender, they are all the same person. When I went down to the reception to ask for an iron and an […] ironing board to be brought up to the room, they handed me both of those things and informed me that they would need them back soon. Bar had no ice. At all. When I asked for it, I was told that machine is broken and no ETA on it being fixed. Maid kept replacing only about half the towels in the room. And to top it off last day I came down to the lobby to find the receptionist arguing and yelling at a guest who was being overcharged for his stay. The hotel is in a good location, hotel itself is in good shape, but there is no way it should be a 4 star hotel, and its not worth their advertised rates. I paid half-price, but having stayed there, I would have preferred a 3 star hotel for the same money. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent Hotel"
Our stay was excellent. The location is a short walk from Place Du Trocadero or Trocadero Square (actually a circle) which has a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. On the street adjacent to the hotel there is one superb bakery, numerous fruit stands and a number of food shops. The hotel was outstanding. The best part was the front desk. Their helpful […] advice and assistance, in English, was super and really appreciated. This includes both the daytime and night staff. "Great Experience"
This hotel was in an excellent location relative to sights, metro and quality affordable restaurants. It was in a very safe upscale neighborhood. Staff at front desk were very helpful and friendly. They even upgraded our room at no additional charge since we were there for a special occasion. The only downside was the inconsistent quality and professionalism […] of the cleaning staff (they threw away receipts that I left on the desk, did not replenish toiletries when needed but was able to get them at the front desk with no problem) but I wouldn't let that prevent me from returning to this hotel. "Great hotel in Paris"
Friendly staff, clean rooms and close walking distance to Eiffel Tower (a couple of blocks) and river where you can get on the Autoboat and stop off at the Louve, Notre Dame etc. Great cafes and restaurants close by. Would definately recomend this hotel in Paris.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location on a quiet street"
This hotel is a two minute walk to the Trocadero metro stop. It is located in a high class neighborhood which is very safe. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower and get on a tour bus or boat bus very easily. The hotel itself is very clean with limited amenities. However, the rooms are large for Europe and why would anyone want more than a comfortable room […] to rest and sleep in. The staff is friendly and multilingual. We felt that Paris was at our fingertips by the location of the hotel. I recommend this hotel for those who want a clean and comfortable room in an excellent location. This is not a hotel for someone who wants large lobbies and shops in their hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Wonderful"
We stayed at the Plaza Tour Eiffel Hotel for 4 nights in September of 2010. The room was ready on our arrival (early) and the staff was really helpful throughout our stay. The room was small, which is typical in Paris, and the shower was very European. We could see the very tip of the Eiffel Tower from our hotel room. We would have liked a few more […] breakfast options right around our hotel, but there were plenty of options by the Metro station. We really enjoyed our stay in this small establishment. "excellent deal close to Tour Eiffel"
Stayed there for 7 days starting Aug 3rd 2010. Loved it!! Very nice and clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. They provide good quality soap, flip flops and bath robes. There is even a dryer in the bathroom to dry towels and keep them warm. Certainly a 4 star hotel. The only complaint was the cleaning lady would slam the door of the room […] next to us and wake us up. I do recommend it to others. And the staff are fluent in English. "Great Hotel!! made up for being a little off beat"
The hotel is a little of the path, if you want to be in the "hub" of everything this is not the place for you. Its only about a five minute walk to the metro. But we were still compelled to take a taxi home when returning late, this is, I think common sense as well as the location of hotel. BTW they aren't happy when you show up at three in the morning […] and they have to get up to unlock the doors..This was a very nice hotel reasonable, clean comfortable, provided robes, air conditioned...if you stay here you wont have regrets! remember it is Europe. The location of the hotel is perfect, being in the calm district but close to the Eiffel Tower, just walking distance. I dsidn't try breakfast in the hotel, but advise having it either in Malakoff or Tracadero cafes, which are very close to the hotel. What a fantastic base to spend a weekend in Paris, the hotel is situated very close to the torcadero (perfect view point for the effiel tower) The hotel staff are very friendly all speak English, a very good breakfast is also offered at the hotel with warm and cold options. I mentioned on my booking it was my fiancée birthday (30) they put us in a room […] over looking the top section of the effiel tower and put rose petals on the bed a big suprise and really made our stay, I would highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for a romantic weekend away. "Great place to stay...fully recommend."
The hotel is ideally located very close to the Eiffel Tower. Many close-by brasseries for delicious breakfast before heading out to sightsee. Close to the Seine where you'll find a number of ways to get around the city by boat. The Metro is also close-by. We took the Metro from CDG to the hotel to see what it was like. Very easy. The neighbourhood is […] the most chic in Paris (the 16th district), according to our taxi driver who took us from the hotel to CDG to go home. The rooms are spotlessly cleaned each day. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. If you want ice, ask for it at the front desk on your way up to your room. There appears to be a small bar service at the front desk. There is also a small sitting area in which to have drinks, although we did not partake of this. Nor did we eat there for breakfast, so can't say how that is. The rooms are small, as to be expected in Europe, but very nicely decorated. There is a patisserie right beside the hotel if you want a quick snack...not the greatest we had, though. It does sell Diet Coke, though, so this was a plus. There are no convenience-type stores anywhere around the hotel (nor in Paris for that matter), so if you need things for the evening when you're in your room, make sure you get them before the stores close, around 5pm. Overall, the hotel is delightful, great staff, clean, well located. You can't go wrong, particularly for a couple. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

This small hotel is in a superb quiet location with good local bistros and restaurants nearby. "Satisfactory but functional"
We chose this hotel for its location and found it to be clean and the staff helpful; for example they supplied a plug adaptor. However, it is pretty functional. There is no restaurant and 'room service' meals consist of a takeaway which takes 45 - 50 minutes to come. We went out instead. Breakfast at €20 per head also struck us as very expensive. "Plaza Hotel Tour Eiffel - 15.02.2012 to 18.02.2012"
I was quite worried choosing a hotel in Paris but what a choice. The welcome was brilliant. Even though our room was not ready because we arrived just after 12.00 hrs, the staff telephoned the house keeper to find out when it would be ready. They then asked if we wanted to use the facillies to freshen up and suggested we go for a walk until the room […] was ready, around 30 minutes. They offered to look after our luggage. This was a great idea! We did not have to walk far before we were at the Trocadero with its cafe's and restaraunts and also a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. What a great start to the holiday. By the time we got back! our room was ready. The room was modern and clean just like the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent! It was a continental buffet with also scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage available. Also delivered to your table would be a basket of pastries and bread roles and croissants with a choice of either tea or coffee. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. For the first night I asked if they could recommend a restaurant which they did and they also called the restaurant to get a table for us. On another occasion also they booked a table for us at another restaurant which was in the small book they gave us. The hotel has a great location, not far from the Eiffel Tower and the Seine where the boat trips start. There are many good restaurants close by, well within walking distance. All in all a geat hotel which I would recommend. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
