I do not like to write reviews, especially negative ones, however in this case I have no other choice. I chose this hotel due to the location and the reviews stating it is 4-stars. Lets start off, that this is a 1-star hotel even compared to other hotels in the Paris area. The room was terrible. Nothing worked, they tried 2 times to help me and each […] time they gave me another room which nothing worked. Finally when they gave me a room, it still was terrible, since it smelled and the TV did not work! During my stay, the hotel personnel was extremely rude and even made negative comments in an undertone about Americans! I left in the morning and usually came back around 5pm, the room was never cleaned by then. I had to always ask them to clean it and then had to leave for 1hr for them to clean it. One day I left for the evening, only to come back at 11pm and the room was not cleaned! I went down to the lobby and they stated sorry, we thought it was cleaned. A terrible excuse! In addition, almost ever day the elevator was broken. which forced us to take 3 flights of stairs. As you can see, this is a terrible hotel. Terrible! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't go there."
The room was very hot, so hot that we could not sleep. We called for help and a technician cam to the room, said he had switched off the heat and the temperature would stabilise. It did not happen. We had no air-conditioning , we opened the window and had the noise of the Metro, the traffic, people shouting and horrendous bright orange lights outside […] our window all night. We were told at Reception that the air-conditioning in the hotel was switched off as summer is over now. We had three nights like this. As we were leaving we were asked if we had enjoyed our stay and when we said the room was too hot, the Receptionist said they had had a problem but hoped it was now fixed. We would not want to stay there again under any circumstances. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
