Hôtel Iliade Montmartre

The 18th arrondisement is a "colorful" area of Paris. Seasoned travelers who are looking for a good rate will find the Iliade to be most adequate. I don't tend to write reviews, but i want to acknowledge their great front desk person. We were there for 9 nine days; she was very helpful, polite and professional (not just with us - I overheard a phone […] conversation as she helped a guest discuss lost luggage options with the airline). When we asked, she found us another room as soon as one opened up (with the heat this summer, we had to open the window and the street noise was a bit much). It's very convenient to a Metro stop, and a McDonald's with free wifi. The one down side was no wifi in the hotel, and their guest computer was out of service. GOOD: price - awesome rate; location - 100 meters from Port de Clignancourt metro stop; staff - friendly, courtious and responsive; room - not a high end hotel, but small room was comfortable, clean, and adequate as a place to rest after long days; neighborhood amenities - McDonald's and KFC on corner by Metro, supermarket between hotel and Metro, overall […] quiet multi-ethnic neighborhood. BAD: noise - room 15 overlooked street and got lots of traffic and bar noise (one across street), but quieted quickly after midnight, interior building noise was noted room to room and early (4am) lobby cleaning. Different room might have helped, but overall did not distract from joy of trip - would stay here again in different room. My mother and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Although the quality was somewhat decent in comparison to the price, the neighborhood the hotel resides in is horrible. It's a very bad area of the city and I felt very uncomfortable and almost scared for my life. It reminded me of North St. Louis. First impressions are always lasting and there were […] two pick-pockets within the first two days we were in Paris, each at the metro station close by. We chose this hotel for the convenience of the metro and easy access to public transportation. The metro is just down the street, but had I known what type of area we would be staying in, I would not have booked. As far as the hotel itself, the staff were very friendly and were willing to answer any of our questions. There is no wifi at the hotel, so you have to use the wifi from the McDonald's down the street, however, I was too afraid of the area to stay out anytime past dark. There is a bar/club directly across the hotel and late at night there's music blaring and people shouting and hollering, so sleeping was an issue at times. The hotel itself was clean, as well as our room, however they were very small. There was no air conditioning, so we had the fan running every night but it still did not cool us down very much. The elevator says it can fit 3 people, but with luggage, it only fits 1. It is a very tight squeeze. Breakfast is not included and we never chose to stay for it, so I cannot comment on the food. All in all we had a place to stay, however, I would have been much happier closer to the city within the better areas of Paris. Read more

Th hotel was close to the metro which made the whole of Paris minutes away. The room and shower room were small, but clean and adequate for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful and didn't mind me practicing my french on them. Value for money.

We knew that the price was cheaper so we did not expect så much of the hotel. But this room should no one pay for or they should not rent it out AT ALL. There was mould on the shower drapery, so they should immediately throw this drapery in the bin. There were also spots of mould in the roof in tha bath room. This is actually easy to clean up because […] that is often just on the surface. But it gives an unpleasant SMELL. This was NOT a nice stay. Pris i forhold til kvalitet er det nok det dårligste hotel, jeg har boet på nogen sinde. Billederne svarer ikke til hotellet standard, og hele familien blev slemt skuffet, da vi så de meget små værelser, og hvor queensize beds blev betragtet som dobbelt senge. V případě, že máte lehké spaní, doporučuji jiný hotel! Proti hotelu - je v úzké uličcce je "restaurace", nevím, kdy lidé spí či chodí do práce, ale hluk z hospody, z aut a života na ulici byl pro mě neúnosný. Ještě malý dovětek pro plnoštíhlé - koupelna s WC je jen do velikosti L!

Ett klart prisvärt hotell. Rent o snyggt. Bra sängar. Vattenkokare samt the o kaffe på rummet, trevligt. Duschen var utan draperi, så det gällde att duscha "försiktigt". Vi åt inte frukost på hotellet så vi vet inte om den var prisvärd 7 E/person. Men vill man ha en kopp kaffe o matigare macka på stan, kostar det ungefär lika mycket. Hotellet ligger […] väldigt nära metron. ca 20 min med metron in till centrala delarna. Men kvarteret är lite tråkigt. Litet, helt OK hotell m härliga sängar. Vi bodde i ett tyst läge mot gården. Skönt att slippa biltrafiken. Nära till Les Puces och gångavstånd till Sacre Coeur. Vi åt inte frukosten på hotellet, utan på ett café i närheten. Nära till tunnelbanan Porte de Clignancourt. Mycket prisvärt.

Det ligger godt tæt på Montmatra, dog noget gadestøj. Rimelig pris, I beskrivelsen af hotellet på nettet, kan man få indtryk af, at værelset er større end tilfældet er. Men hvis man hovedsageligt bruger hotelværelset til overnatning, er det ok.

Hotel Iliade ligger i et farverigt kvarter nær Porte Clignacourt, i behagelig gåafstand fra Montmartre. Et to-stjernet hotel, og derfor uden den store komfort, men en yderst venlig og imødekommende betjening fra hele personalet.
