We had a great experience staying in a junior suite at the end of May, 2013. The staff was all multi-lingual and completely friendly. They were more... than willing to assist with directions for the Paris public transit system. They have an honesty bar for nighttime use where you make your own mixed drinks or pour from their selection of beer wine and soda. The only downsides I saw were that there was only a breakfast meal served by the kitchen in the same bar area. Not much of a view besides the other buildings around you on what is a typically narrow street. These were minor inconveniences as we spent most of our time away from the hotel touring Paris and the surrounding attractions from mid morning past the dinner hour each day. Expect rooms that are cleaned and restocked every day with complimentary bottled water and coffee packs for the combination coffee / espresso maker. A hair drier is in the bathroom and an iron an board were available upon request. Less than a block away from the subway entrance that connected to a major subway and train intersection. Within easy walking distance of a 5 point intersection with trendy bars and small stores. Food stores, good restaurants and creperies within yards of the front door. Laundry down the block. The major boulevard Montparnasse with even more restaurants, stores and interesting shops was less than a block away and the Tower Montparnasse was about a 5 block walk away but could also be reached by subway.
