"Disappointed"
We choose this hotel because it was in our old neighborhood when we lived in Paris in 1989. Although some wonderful qualities there were 3 issues that hurt the stay. (1) We were trying to sleep in the first day and a constant hammering started in late morning right over our bedroom. Why be put in a room where this would go on? (2) We asked about the […] Musee D'Orsay being open and we were told it was at the front desk. When arriving it was not and told it had been this way for 25 years! "Great Parking"
If you have your own overseas delivery car this is the place to stay, private secured garage is under hotel. Only gripe I have is nor beer in mini bar, so why do they call it a mini bar. No explanation from mngmt for this except to say the current owners took all alcohol out of the rooms a week before we got there. My wife and spent three days at this hotel and when we left we wished we would have stayed longer. The location of this hotel is as good as it can be in Paris i.e. close to metros, cafes, and restaurants like le Dome, La Coupole, etc ... The staff was very nice and helpful. "10 mins from metro"
The location of the hotel is 5-10 mins walk from the montparness bienvenou metro station. This station provides many line options so take this one rather than the Gaile metro stop as it only has access to one line. The Paris metro system is very well integrated with intuitive maps and directions at each station. The walk to/from the hotel is enjoyable […] as it appears to be a safe neighborhood with nice cafes and pastry shops. The walk may be tiring for ones who would rather not walk that much. Hotel: The front desk staff were very helpful and provided us with a room that had a view of the eiffel tower. Make sure to request this before your arrival or at your arrival as it is only provided if requested. The standard room was small but very clean. "Great location in a quieter part of the city"
The Hotel Concorde Montparnasse was so easy to get to. Les Cars Air France has inexpensive buses running every 30 mins from Orly and CDG airports that drop you off at Gare Montparnasse train station, not two blocks from the entrance to the hotel. Buy a roundtrip ticket in advance to save money. The trip from CDG (via Gare de Lyon) took about an hour. Nearby […] the hotel, there's a major train station, plenty of restaurants, pharmacies, and movie theaters. You're a short metro ride from the center of Paris, but the area around the hotel never feels overrun with tourists. Now, this may seem petty, but in such a digital age, this is something worth mentioning: What I found frustrating was the hotel wifi. I had to organize several aspects of my trip using the wifi on my smartphone, so I was disappointed when every evening, after a day of decent reception, the wifi would cut out and stop connecting for hours (for the techies, I was on a moto droid; my girlfriend's iphone never even detected a signal). The lobby had decent reception, though still temperamental. To be fair, I never used the wired connection available in my room, but I was travelling sans laptop. There was also a slightly unpleasant smell in the lobby (never the room), but I wouldn't condemn my otherwise lovely stay for that reason. It very well could have been just for that weekend. At the Concorde Montparnasse, the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive to my requests. After a little confusion upon check-in, our stay was pretty good. The hotel is nice and relatively new. The staff were VERY friendly, professional and helpful. The only frustrating part of the stay (which the front desk responded to very quickly on both occassions) was an issue with the mini bar not being restocked each day (our rate included items […] in the mini-bar, very welcomed at the end of a long day I must say). "Hotel Concorde Montparnasse - good location"
We stayed in the Hotel Concorde Montparnasse for 3nights in December. The location was great, close to two metro stations which made getting around very easy, 20 minutes approx. to all the sights by tram and half an hour to the Palace of Versailles. The neighbourhood seemed to be OK although the street were littered with rubbish most evenings! The staff […] in the hotel were not overly friendly but they helped us with whatever we needed. The rooms were small but having done some research prior to travelling we were made aware that this was the case in most hotels in Paris. We got a good deal on the room through a booking website, however it did not include breakfast and the food in the hotel was expensive!! Plently of cosy Pâtisserie's around to have your breakfast though and we found the Latin quarter great for restaurants. "Concorde montparnasse- great base to sight see"
Lovely hotel with attentive helpful staff. We booked the standard room and had a garden facing room on the top (7th) floor. Room very small (Only just space to get suitcase between bed and desk). Bed was very comfortable. The wardrobe was tiny with 6 hangers , it was not broad enough to hang a mans coat and close the door. The main fault with the room […] was the air-conditioning which we could not control. The room was very warm and a bit stuffy in the mornings. The bathroom was small with over bath shower , kept very clean with some nice complimentary toiletries. Ventilation in bathroom bit of an issue, it gets very steamy after a shower and no obvious fan. It may seem like long list of complaints but we thought on the whole this was a great hotel for Paris standards and the price we paid. The real advantage to this hotel is it's proximity to montparnasse bienvenue metro. This is a great metro interchange for travelling all over Paris. Vi hadde ei nydelig helg på et kjempe fint hotell sentralt i Paris. Kort vei til metro stasjon. Lett å komme seg til begge flyplasser med direkte flybuss. Kjempe trivelig personal på hotellet og rommene var rene og fine. Eneste som trekker ned er manglende valgmuligheter på menyen i hotellets restaurant. "コンコルド・モンパルナス、期待に胸は一杯だったが…"
他のレビュ－等には駅近で部屋も広く申し分ない、等といった感想を多数見かけるが、感じ方は人それぞれと言えど、事実メトロ（地下鉄）の出口からはゆるやかな上り坂をおよそ10分、同じブロック内の真逆に位置しておりかなりの距離にある。 予約の際には、4つ星でコンコルド系列と、知名度も高く、かなりの期待を寄せたのだが、実際にはホテル周りは閑散とした広場に面し、写真で見るような華やかさはなく、5泊滞在した部屋はＷベッド1つの広いとは言い難いものであった。 位置によってはエッフェル塔が見える部屋もあるのだろうが我々は道路側だった。中庭に面した部屋よりは良かったかも…。 駅～ホテル近辺は夜は少し治安が悪いので注意。 何よりも驚いたのはアメニティに歯ブラシ・歯磨きがなかった事。たまたま予備として持参していたので […] 助かったが、これまで数々旅し数々のホテルに泊まったが、このようなホテルはインドの格安ホテルぐらいだろうか？ また、エアコンは冷房のみに固定されており、夜等寒い思いをした。 ル－ムキ－（カ－ド）は1枚しか貸与されず、エレベ－タ－を使用する際、ル－ムキ－（カ－ド）が必要となるため、単独行動ができない。 メトロの駅までの間に小さいス－パ－が2つあるので日用品等は購入可能。 これまで4回パリを訪れたが、今後このホテルを利用する事はないだろう。 Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Im großen und Ganzen zu empfehlen"
Das Zimmer war so wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Es sah genauso aus und war sehr schön für Pariser Verhältnisse. Es gab einen Flachbildfernseher mit Radiosendern, TV (wenige deutsche Sender), Kinofilmauswahl (gegen Gebühr- allerdings billiger als ein Kinobesuch zu hause), Spiele, Wetteranzeige und so weiter... Das war schon praktisch, wenn man zu kaputt […] war sich noch mehr anzuschauen. Die Minibar war nicht besonders gut. In diesem "Kühlschrank", der nur minimal kühl war, waren zum Beispiel auch ein Pringlespackung reingequetscht. So was habe ich noch nie gesehen. Es hätte sicherlich auch einen anderen Ort gegeben Pringles zu verkaufen und wenn sie so alt sind, dass sie im Kühlschrank liegen müssen, dann weiß ich auch nicht. Die klimaanlage hat zwar funktioniert, aber die angegebenen Temperaturen haben im Leben nicht gestimmt. Es war meistens ziemlich warm und man konnte nirgens Fenster öffnen. Das war ein sehr großer Nachteil. Als wir angereist sind, hat man uns zu erst ein Zimmer gegeben, was viel größer war als das gebuchten. Allerdings war es ein Raucherzimmer und es hat extrem, wirklich extrem nach Rauch gestunken. Dann sind wir zur Reception und wir haben sofort das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen. Der Service war wirklich sehr gut. Im Nachhinein haben wir vermutet, dass sie uns einen Gefallen tun wollten mit dem größeren Zimmer zum gleichen Preis. Es gibt durchaus Gäste, die Nichtraucher sind und mit diesem Geruch kein Problem haben, diese hätten sich dann sicher gefreut. Am Abreisetag wollte ich ins Flugzeug einchecken und das lief reibungslos am PC im Hotel (gegen geringe Gebühr-Tickets ausdrucken möglich). Alles in allem waren wir von dem Hotel begeistert. Fint hotel placeret tæt på metro og Gare Montparnasse, så bilen er unødvendig. Har man den alligevel med, er der parkering i hotellets kælder mod betaling - rart at have et sted til den. Vær obs på, at morgenmad ikke umiddelbart følger med. Lidt bøvl med elevator. Små værelser - men ok, når det er i Paris. im Montparnasse gelegen, daher aber sehr ruhig. Hatten Glück mit Fenster zur Strasse, da Innenhof doch sehr beengt und trist. Bei Ankunft war Minibar-Kühlschrank defekt, trotz sofortiger Reklamation erfolgte Reparatur aber erst 2(!) Tage später. "Godt hotel med gode værelser"
Maget rummelige værelser, super Internet forbindelse - det trådløse kan dog være belastet til tider. Lidt dyre med deres morgenmad - vi spiste på hotellet den første morgen, derefter fandt vi hyggelige steder i nabolaget, hvor vi spiste morgenmad i stedet. Ligger på bagsiden af Montparnasse Gare (hovedbanegården i området) - hvilket gør det meget nemt, […] at komme til metroen. Nabolaget indeholder meget rige muligheder for at gå ud og spise, her er alt fra Thai, japanske, italienske til super franske bistroer og spisesteder. Vi spiste "fransk" i alle 9 dage, vi var i Paris - hvor af de fleste aften måltider var her i det lokale område. Ligger i 15. arr. - hvilket betyder, at der er ca. 30 minutter med metroen til langt de fleste "turist" ting i Paris - vi nød at gå rundt, så de fleste ting ligger inden for ca. 1 times gå afstand. Dette var virkelig en fin hotellopplevelse! Nydelig rom. Rent og pent. Fint bad. God seng. Det eneste som trakk litt ned var at det ikke var vindu som kunne åpnes. Jeg er vant til å ha det kaldt på soverommet, og det var ikke kaldt på soverommet, da air conditionen ikke var helt optimal. Bel hôtel à 2 pas de la gare Montparnasse. Accueil très agréable (surtout Hassan) , serviable et bonne humeur. Idéal pour ceux qui arrivent à la gare Montparnasse en terme de rapport qualité / prix . demander de préférence les chambres supérieures,la différence de prix est faible mais les chambres sont plus confortables et le mini bar free (hors boisson […] alcoolisées). Privilégiez les chambres au dernier étage ou donnant côté patio intérieur pour éviter les problèmes de bruit liés à la circulation des chambres donnant sur la rue où la circulation est intense. Hotelli oli todella laadukas. Huoneemme oli siisti ja kaikilla mukavuuksilla varustettu, sekä hiljainen vaikka ikkuna oli kadulle päin. Aamiainen oli todella maittava, tosin melko hintava. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja englannilla pärjäsi hyvin. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä. Aivan lähellä on pieni ruokakauppa ja muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä […] pieni ostoskeskus, metropysäkki ja Montparnassen rautatieasema. Vähän kauempana (mutta silti lähellä) on Tour Montparnasse ja toinen ostoskeskus. Alueella on myös paljon ravintoloita. Alue, jolla hotelli sijaitsee oli mielestämme rauhallinen ja viihtyisä. Keskustaan pääsee metrolla parin metron vaihdoksen kautta. Kaiken kaikkiaan olimme todella tyytyväisiä hotelliin ja varmasti majoittuisimme sinne uudelleenkin. "Montpernasse - Sentralt til alt"
Hotellet ligger like ved sentral stasjonen, noe som gjør at hele Paris ligger kun en kort tur borte med metroen. Hotellet er rent og pent og ikke noe å utsette på, men minibaren var varm og hotellet har en altfor dyr frokost i forholdet til hva du får servert.
