I normally wouldn't review the same hotel multiple times, but since they had just renovated in April, I felt it was justified. What an improvement! The... furnishings had been drab and outdated, but now they feel much more welcoming, clean and comfortable. The bed is soft. The bathrooms are sleek, though I'm a little perplexed why they put this enormous shower head in when there are no curtains, so if you stand up the water goes all over the floor, where there is no drain. They clearly expect you to wash using the handheld nozzle, but if so, why even install such a noticeable overhead showerhead? I'm not complaining, just confused by the thinking that went into the design. Overall, the new look is great and makes a reliable hotel all the better value. Breakfast (13EUR) was a little too expensive. But the room was clean. Only one power socket in the room. The free Wi-Fi connection was stable. I was able to connect to the internet without a problem. Friendly front desk. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay there again.
