"Disappointed"
Hotel Val Girard was adequate for our needs, but I feel a bit led astray by the positive reviews on Expedia and Trip Advisor. We weren't blown away by any aspect. We were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of our room and with the fact that some unopened beer bottles disappeared when our room was cleaned one day, which we didn't appreciate. The front […] desk representatives were nice, but I didn't feel comfortable with the fact that we had to leave our key every time we went out and all you had to do was ask for your key at the desk to get it, which led me to have some concerns about the security of the hotel. The room itself was cute, but bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. For my next visit to Paris, I will definitely choose another hotel, most likely one in a different neighbourhood as we had to use the metro every day to get to our destinations.
