My mother and I stayed in this hotel for four nights. We were able to check in at 1:00 p.m. and got a room on the 6th floor. We had two twin beds that were pushed together and there was very little room to move around. The room did include a small closet, a desk and a mini fridge which came in handy. The bathroom was decent size but the stand up shower […] was extremely tiny. I am 4'11" with a small frame and could barely move in it. However, the room was clean and the hotel was in our budget. There is a metro directly across the street which was very convenient. The catacombs are within easy walking distance and if you start craving American food there is a restaurant named Indiana on the same side of the street as the hotel about a block away. "Good place to stay"
There is a subway right across the street. there is a grocery store about 1 block away. the street next two the grocery store has a lot of great places to eat. if you are not advinturace eater then 2 McDonalds are within walking distance. there is also a pizza hut on the side street next to the hotel. Breakfast for 7 days at the hotel cost me 144 euros, […] so it might be cheeper to eat at the crape stand across the street from the hotel. if you use the shuttle to the airport it will cost 40 euros but book your sport as soon as you check in or it will fill up fast. Dont use a taxi if you dont have to going back to the airport. we requested a taxi at 8:30 and he showed up early and charged us another 12 euros before we got down to the curb. we were on the curb at 8:25. The hotel was a good place to sleep. rooms were small but that seems to be the norm in Paris. we had our own bathroom with a shower. the shower is not very big. i had to shower with the shower door open because it was so SMALL. the staff was helpful and spoke english though hard to understand at times. this is a good hotel and would stay here again. "Economical and practical"
Hotel was easy to get to and situated close to RER and metro. This was my first time in Paris so I can't compare/contrast with other hotels. The staff were friendly and accommodating. On check out day, we and another group all wanted to leave our luggage which they graciously handled. Our room size was probably the smallest I've ever experienced. But, […] it's Paris and you don't spend vast amounts of time in your room anyway. The room was clean and relatively quiet. The satellite TV selection was limited - just French and some German language. BBC and CNN were not available accept for one night. "Good location...a bit noisy"
The location of the hotel was great, close enough to all the things you'll need (metro station within metres, boulangeries, cafes, grocery stores, restaurants within a minute or two, rail link to CDG airport is only a five minute walk away), without having the hefty pricetag of being on the Seine. It's about 5 mins on the metro or about 25 mins walk […] to Notre Dame. The staff were good, the room was clean and modern-ish. The only issue we had was that our room was a bit loud. We were on the quiet side of the hotel (ie: not facing the main road) but the housekeepers started vaccuuming very early in the morning, the lift and stairs were right outside our door so we constantly woken up in the middle of the night and the A/C unit kept making a gurgling noise. We couldn't be bothered to move rooms - ipods took care of cutting out most of the noise and we didn't want to pack/unpack again. The hotel was in a good location being opposite the Metro and about 20 minute walking distance to the Luxembourg gardens. However, the room was tiny and we had a cot for our 1 year old little girl which just about fitted. The lift to the room did not fit the buggy so we had to carry her and buggy seperately. "Hotel Best Western Nouvel Orleans"
Bien situé en face d'un métro mais un peu loin du centre-ville. Personnel très sympathique et aidant. Les environs sont bien, beau quartier avec plusieurs restos et sécuritaire. Lo consiglio per l'ottima posizione , in quanto situato a 10 mt dalla fermata della Metro linea. 4 (Mouton Duvernet).Per quanto concerne la stanza e' piccolina ma accogliente , ideale per una coppia per un soggiorno di 3/4 notti.
