"Great hotel for tourists"
When I checked in, the girl at the front was very friendly and kind. I cut myself by accident and asked her for a bandage and she was so kind as to look for a bandage for me. The room itself was a 2 single bed on the 2nd floor. The lightening of the room could have been a little brighter and sometimes at night you could hear the elevator move outside […] but other than that, I had a great stay. The bed was clean, flatscreen tv with 30 channel, a safe inside the closet and hangers for jackets. The soap for body wash and shampoo smelt good unlike the first hotel I stayed. Also we booked the room the day before and the rate was very reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
""Close to train stations""
This hotel was comfortable and the staff was so helpful in connecting us up with the train and in the renting of a car and the shuttle services. My only concern is that it is rather a long walk from the center of town and I felt like we were out there for walking Paris. It is close to 2 train stations which is helpful though. Overall I would certainly […] reccommend this hotel to friends, but probably not friends with kids- the rooms are small. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Interesting nieghborhood"
Hotel is a bit dated and nothing fancy. But it's well kept, clean and has its own character with a bit of charm. They need to update the internet carrier for sure but no other real complaints. Staff is polite and helpful. I liked the older, low rise nieghborhood; one definately does not feel they are in a tourist area. Many small cafes and brasseries […] frequented by locals who are pretty friendly, even by non Paris standards. Moulin Rouge is nearby but far enough away that it's easy to avoid its seedy influence. Although only a couple of tourist attractions in the nieghborhood, the Seine and heart of Paris can be reached easily by subway or a nice 20 min walk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Family Hotel"
This hotel was a great value and location for our family of 5, including 3 teenagers. We had a newly-renovated executive room on the ground floor for 3 people and one regular room for 2 people. Both rooms were impeccably clean and had air conditioning--wonderful for the 100-degree Paris days we had! The staff, especially Clementine, were so helpful […] with suggestions for food, shopping, transportation, etc.. The location was near Metro and a 10-minute walk from the more affordable shopping street Blvd. Haussmann and the cheap Roissy Bus to CDG airport. We loved the selection of bakeries, cafes and restaurants in the area. We would stay here again and highly recommend it for the value. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great value"
Very clean, nicely furnished and spacious (by European standards). My only complaint is the same as a previous reviewer - that the a/c (which worked very well) blew directly on my head all night and I had to shut it off. The gentleman at the reception was wonderfully helpful and kind. I lived in Paris for 15 years and feel like I've finally found a […] reasonably priced hotel that makes visiting affordable. Definitely recommend. Also the square just down the street is very lively with some good restaurants. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perhaps you should consider elsewhere..."
The hotel room, although clean, was extremely tiny. The staff was not completely helpful for a non-French speaking tourist such as myself. Located further than I preferred from ideal shopping, great cuisine and landmark attractions. For a first time Parisian traveler, it's location in comparison to 'where you want to be' is difficult to navigate. Certainly, […] the room was clean and safe which is worth mentioning. "Pertty decent hotel"
There are many hotels in Paris without AC and we were looking a hotel that included AC and be near a metro station so traveling around the city would be easy for one of our traveling partners who was an elderly person. Les Trois Poussins Hotel was just this hotel. The beds were quite comfy so the reason for quality of 3 stars was simply that the ac […] fan never shuts off and the air blow direction is at the head of the bed. This means cold air is blowing directly at your head which can be uncomfortable for some (me included) and there is no was to change the direction or the air flow. I eventually repositioned the bed over to see if i could avoid the air flow which i found did not help the situation. In the end i slept with my head to the foot end of the bed to avoid the air flow to my head. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. We found the room and bathroom adequately sized, the metro to be relateively near, AC cold as heck, and there is a small park area with a few restaraunts that was awesome. Whenever we came from site seeing and not want to go back into the city for good food we end up eating in this park area. Eating in this area gives you the experience of being a Parisian living in France as opposed to being a tourist visiting which is an awesome touch to the experience of traveling. If I were to visit Paris again I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Fish Somewhere Else"
Les Trois Poussins hotel in Paris is a small hotel in a not so quiet neighborhood far from everything but the Sacre-Coeur. My wife and I were traveling with our 12 year-old son and were given a room on the top floor. This former attic had a low and steep roof with large wood beams. Had I been a Hobbit I may have found it familiar and inviting, but at […] 6' 4" instead I found myself trying to avoid smacking my head every time I stood up. Our room reminded me more of cabin in the Poconos in upstate New York than a hotel in Paris. It was long narrow and near claustrophobic. The local neighborhood gets pretty loud on Friday and Saturday night, so don't plan on falling asleep until close to midnight. The service staff was vanilla, neither going out of their way to find out about our stay, nor rude. The hotel is close to the subway, but if you like to walk, you will find you are a long way from where you want to be. My recommendation—fish for a hotel closer to the heart of the city. Sure you're going to pay more, but you're in Paris and worth it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"You won't be disappointed, a real gem!"
We enjoyed our stay here based on Paris hotels. We had 3 twins in one room (#3 roll away bed) a little tight but very cozy beds :-) The staff was amazing and the breakfast was 13 euros per person but overall compared to the prices in restaurants it was well worth it and convenient. Hotel was quiet and a typical Paris hotel, not like the chain hotels. […] Close to the Metro, St George's and Pigalle. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel. My only complaint is there was only one outlet in the room, so I was unable to use a curling iron or an iron :-( There was a blow dryer in the bathroom with a electrical outlet for a "shaver" I was afraid to plug in my iron. The kitchenette is a nice feature but there again no outlet. There were two electric burners but no pots or tools to boil water. Nice size refrigerator. You will not be disappointed with this hotel for the price. Staff was extremely friendly and helped with directions to various sites. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Charming, clean and lovely place"
This is a charming little boutique hotel in a great neighbourhood - short walk to everything incluing the metro station. Clean, bright, friendly and helpful staff. "tiny but fine"
I don't think I have EVER seen a smaller room or bathroom. (My knees touched the opposite wall when I sat on the toilet.), but that being said, this hotel had a certain Parisian charm, and the staff was quite helpful and the neighborhood cute. "LES TROIS POUSSINS, PARIS"
We have stayed at Les Trois Poussins before (three years ago) and had found it clean, comfortable and convenient. So we booked again for one night when we were passing through Paris on our way to Toulouse. "Very Clean and well located Hotel"
We stayed 4 nights May '11 and overall were very satisfied. Our traveling party had 2 rooms, one on the ground floor off a small outdoor patio in the rear.and the other on the third floor. Please note that there is a friendly cat that hangs out in the recieption area. I am very allergic to cats, and had contacted the hotel about my concerns. They responded […] right away that the cat does not go to the other floors or rooms. I had no issues with my allergies staying on the third floor. The hotel is very well situated, with a metro stop a couple of blocks away. There are restaurants, cafes and shops in the area, and is obviously a neighbor where locals live. The rooms are small, but very clean, the bathrooms are spotless. Housekeeping is efficent. Wifi was perfect and a great price @ 4 euros/24hrs. Would definately stay here again. Location: although the hotel is not far from the "red light district" of Pigalle, the Clauzel street is quiet and peaceful. "Les Trois Poussins Hotel"
I'd done a lot of research on this hotel and really expected my stay to be just fine. In the end it was ok, but it got off to a really rough start. I was given the smallest room in the hotel, which included a single bed. When I inquired about this I was told that the special instructions which came from Hotels.com said Double bed, but that it's not […] guaranteed. After showing the hotel my confirmation which stated double bed - and even showing them that the website still offered such an option - they said I could have a double bed but I'd have to pay extra for it. I held my ground and was given a room with a double bed. However the room was a pit, there was a bug in the bathroom and the wireless internet, which I'd already paid for while I was waiting seven hours for check-in time to arrive, didn't work in that room. I accepted their single room so I could do the work I needed to do as well as use the web to look for things to keep me out in Paris instead of in my tiny Parisian room. The common areas of the hotel have been redone and are lovely. I'm under the impression that many of the rooms have also been renovated. However, neither of the rooms that I were offered appeared to have been redone. Upon my check out I learned that there are plans to demolish the room I was in and merge it with a neighboring room. I think this a wise move. Despite the smallness of my room it wound up being ok because I had access to a terrace which allowed me to greet the Paris mornings. The location is ideal, just a couple of blocks from the Metro and for those that like to walk it's also quite well situated. Just far enough to keep you on your toes. I made a habit of either taking the Metro to a destination and walking back or vice-versa. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location....cat swinging difficult!"
Good locatiojn and very convenient for Metro. Rooms small - so cat swinging presents difficulties. "Cosy Hotel"
Small hotel in the lively Montmartre area of Paris. Sits well away, but close enough to, the main area surrounding the Moulin Rouge full of sex shops and lap dancing bars. Don’t let this put you off though. The hotel itself is quite “cosy” but is very clean and the staff are very helpful when asked about anything. Don’t expect overt cheeriness though! Our […] room got cleaned every day and the towels were changed if requested by leaving them on the floor. Nice décor, half-decent shower and very clean with lots of storage space for your clothes etc when you unpack. The room even had it’s own Kitchen area with fridge (very handy) and cooking stove!! (no pots, plates or pans though…odd). Very happy with the hotel overall but we were out all day, every day for our 4 day stay. It done the job amicably. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for Montmarte"
The hotel is probably worth the money because of the location, but I've stayed in cheaper and nicer 3 star hotels in less popular Montparnasse. Think twice about the hotel shuttle. Clean hotel, quite a good location near metro, cafe, shops. Only down side had to walk through a street in the red light area to reach one of the main metro stops but as a mother and daughter we had no problems. We had an executive room with a kitchen but you have to pay 15 euros per night for equipment which I thought was excessive and should be included […] in the price of the room as breakfast was not included. Travel tip take a travel kettle and mugs as the fridge was available at no charge. A local bakery was the perfect place to buy breakfast pastries at a reasonable cost. My daughter is a vegetarian and not all restaurants would accommodate us. We travelled on the Eurostar which I would highly recommend as a easy way to travel London to Paris.
