"Great neighborhood but moldy room"
Excellent place to stay but the bathroom was filled with mold my wife was feeling terrible since she is allergic to mold. Poor customer service, little bit of a let down.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fish Somewhere Else"
Les Trois Poussins hotel in Paris is a small hotel in a not so quiet neighborhood far from everything but the Sacre-Coeur. My wife and I were traveling with our 12 year-old son and were given a room on the top floor. This former attic had a low and steep roof with large wood beams. Had I been a Hobbit I may have found it familiar and inviting, but at […] 6' 4" instead I found myself trying to avoid smacking my head every time I stood up. Our room reminded me more of cabin in the Poconos in upstate New York than a hotel in Paris. It was long narrow and near claustrophobic. The local neighborhood gets pretty loud on Friday and Saturday night, so don't plan on falling asleep until close to midnight. The service staff was vanilla, neither going out of their way to find out about our stay, nor rude. The hotel is close to the subway, but if you like to walk, you will find you are a long way from where you want to be. My recommendation—fish for a hotel closer to the heart of the city. Sure you're going to pay more, but you're in Paris and worth it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"too small too dark"
Location was quiet and convenient. But...The room was too small and the lights were too dim. The shower was also too small - I couldn't turn around without hitting the walls. The toilet smelled with no vent. Wifi was at extra charge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for Montmarte"
The hotel is probably worth the money because of the location, but I've stayed in cheaper and nicer 3 star hotels in less popular Montparnasse. Think twice about the hotel shuttle. It was over half an hour late picking me up and cost a lot more than using the Air France buses from Gare Montparnasse or Gare Lyon. That said it was a lot more convenient […] than using a left baggage facility and lugging baggage through the metro. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, but could find better hotel"
Disappointed, after reading good reviews. plants ?dead in window boxes, room was a 'deluxe' - not featured on hotel website, off the courtyard. Had large area of peeled off wallpaper near bathroom door - noticed on previous review so had not been repaired. Paintwork chipped. Overall room felt dingy. Occasional noise from motorbikes during night, and […] from 730 am from builders nearby, otherwise in quiet street. Room small - no room for suitcases at all. Single plug socket behind the sofa bed. Efficient shower. Great location. When asked for restaurants nearby we were given the names of two that were closed for August! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Sliding down the star rating."
We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and loved it. It has run down a lot since then and the staff were at best ok. Our room's carpet looked as though previous guests had been killing small animals in there, and the ceiling paint was peeling. We won't be back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hope you have a better stay than we did"
We were recommended this hotel by friends who had previously stayed here, the location was good and looked quaint, however the fridge was extremely smelly and we dare not open it the room was small and was in dire need of an upgrade we saw other rooms on passing that looked so much nicer the reception manager never acknowledged us once or recognised […] us which is hard to fathom when you had your key in every time you leave the hotel and we were there for 4 days this establishment is not cheap and we were away for 6 weeks in europe this was the poorest of them all Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Note small as a Tokyo capsule hotel room but close"
The location was lovely and there was indeed an adorable cat in the lobby. The room was positively minuscule and poorly arranged into the bargain. Service was very efficient and crisp but lacked just the tiniest bit of warmth which would have made it lovely. Why do hotels work so hard to hide available electrical outlets when nearly everyone in the […] world travels with at least ONE item that requires charging?
