This was our second time at this hotel. We love it! The location is great, the beds are very comfortable, nice and quiet neighborhood. It is on the left bank and you can walk to the Louve and Notre Dame very easily. Fantastic location: Pantheon, Notre Dame, several metro stations, etc. within walking distance. Many restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. (Pizza Roma on the same block is amazing! The hotel is very close to a metro, and but not in a highly touristy area (a total plus!). Lots of good restaurants in the area, at decent prices too. "Beware of this hotel"
We stayed 7 nights at this hotel, room nr. 404. This is by far my worst hotel experience. They do not deserve 2 stars and they got 4. The double bed is the size of a table, I request a cab at 7 AM to go to the Airport, with rain outside, the Concierge requested me to go to the Taxi Station, because the telephone lines were busy. After fighting, the […] cab came in 5 minutes. Frigobar with no water at 11.30 PM, we request water and was informed that they did not have it and I should go to the bar next block. We tried to make reservations for Lido, Castles, etc... and they did not know how to do it. Instead the 3 employees of the Concierge fight between themselves avoiding being blamed. It is a disaster. The Villa Pantheon is a great location - walking distance to the Luxembourg gardens, Notre Dame, the Pantheon, and even the Louvre if you're adventurous. Close to the metro, markets, and great 24-hour cafes. The Latin Quartier is a GREAT place to stay, which makes this hotel a winner out of the gate. The actual hotel rooms are tiny - a desk, a bed, […] nice bathroom, and that's it. No room for anything else. The bed is uncomfortable, but hopefully you'll be exhausted from Paris! Service is okay. The counter guy will speak English well enough, despite a slightly unfriendly demeanor. The night guy was good (even helped correct a girl's french). Do NOT have the breakfast!! 30 Euros for two?? Holy heck. You can buy kilos of fresh fruit and all the croissants you want for less than 20 euros, and can have a good breakfast for 10. Overall, a hotel that tried to be too luxurious (read: expensive) in the bar/buffet/doorman area, without addressing the peripheral points (tiny rooms, old elevator, no ice, etc). The location makes it worthwhile, if you can get an online deal - good for the first timer, but my next visit to Paris, I'll check out another hotel in the district. Apparently a 4* hotel which doesn't offer room service or even a kettle in the room. We asked for an adapter everyday at the reception and didn't get one as they only had 3 for the whole hotel. Jeg syntes hotellet var rigtig fint. Der var en super god service i receptionen (en af medarbejderne, talte dansk), og resten talte perfekt engelsk. Hotellet har en god beliggenhed. Det ligger lidt væk fra det værste turist og trafiksus, men stadig inden for kort gå afstand til f.eks Pantheon og Nortre Dame.
