We knew that hotel rooms in Paris are small, however in a 4 star rated room we expected more. In Expedias website it states that the hotel can arrange for taxi from CDG. They did not, nor is the price EURO 50 correct. Depending on the Taxi and traffic it is 60-70 EUR. The bed cover in our room was so faded so it looked dirty. The furniture are scuffed […] and worn. The first day we had two hand towles and two bath towles, the second day and the rest of our stay they only gave us one hand towle. "Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!"
This is no way a 4 star hotel by American standards. Actually measured room & it was a 8 foot square. 2 people w/ normal luggage does not equal comfortable. Desk staff were indifferent at best. Gave no good advise or tips almost seemed like gave 'bad' advise. One older man was actually outright rude. Went leave english magazines in lobby since had nothing […] in english & was told not to bother because would throw away since don't need anything in english. "the condition of this hotel is horrible"
the only good things about this hotel were the friendly service provided by Ahmed and the location. I was part of a party of 4. We got 3 rooms. When we checked in, we were each upgraded to large rooms with king-size beds and large bathrooms. However, the rooms were beyond shabby and extremely dark. The phone in my room didn't work and couldn't be fixed […] for 3 days and part of the molding in the bathroom was rotten and moldy. Also, the noise from the water pipes above my room kept me up all night. I don't think the decor or furniture has been upgraded since the 60s and the water pipes since the 19th century. The Hotel in dated, but charming, and in an excellent location. Some of the staff are superb, but some are curt and rude, and not in the concise and direct way of the French. I was promised internet as a part of my room fee. They were in the process of changing servers and did not have service, although they committed to providing it at one time, and […] none of us were able to even get service in the lobby during critical times for all of us as business people. very small rooms, we had to put the chair in the corridor to be able to open 2 rollons we had. shower holder was broken and not properly fixed during the 3 nights we stayed. room was not serviced untill 15:00 and only after our complain. grumpy service from reception. 15 euro for breakfast is a ripoff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Over-priced with small rooms and headphones stolen"
I spend a great deal of time in Paris and this hotel was over-priced with very small rooms. I could not even stand-up in the shower and could not move around the room becuase the furniture did not even fit. The staff was not helpful when I reported that my two-hundred dollar headphones were taken from my room. The room safe did not work. When I called […] about the safe they acted like "so what". "Sloppy management of pleasant place"
Lift did not work for 3 days we were there - no sign of concern by hotel staff. Wifi said to be in room, but actually only in lobby, and then with periods in which it did not work. "Barely a three star"
We stayed in a number of three-star hotels around Europe on this trip, and this supposed 4-star was the worst of the bunch. The internet barely worked in the room (we were on the first floor) so the lobby was always full of "surfers." The biggest problem though was the heat in the room. Even though it was only 12-16 degrees (celcius) during the day […] while we were in Paris, our room was unbearably hot. The air conditioning didn't work, and if we opened the window is was too loud. "No sleep and impolite staff!!!"
When we arrived the room was not ready we patiently waited but nobody apologised for this. The room was clean, small but descent overall. I called the reception asking for help and after I was briefly explained, I asked another question to clarify and verify his guidelines, he answered "I already explained to you" and he hung up the phone on me!!! Isn't […] replying to customers politely part of their duty??? The following day, we realised the balcony door was left open from the cleaners! This balcony was shared with 2 other occupied rooms! Thankfully I have locked everything in our room but needless to say how irresponsible that is. The walls were paper thin so you could hear everything from next door. First night the next door wouldn't let us sleep till 5 am. The next day we could hear the cleaner from 8 am and our bed was actually moving when was cleaning next door. At the check out, they tried to charge us things we never bought and when we raised the point that they have actually left the door open, they denied that our room had any balcony! They asked us with attitude though to pay for taxes although no receipt was give to us. Only shampoo/bodywash was provided and the WiFi was only available in the lobby. At night the entrance was closed and the reception empty so we had to knock several times. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as there much better options around the area where staff is much more polite and you can have some sleep. Definetely not a 4 star hotel! "not impressed"
As with most reasonably priced hotels in Paris the room was very small but that was expected. The manager was the most unhelpful and rude person we had to deal with in our 9 week, 6 country European Trip and this was not expected and did affect our stay. This was the only hotel in Europe we encountered, that did not have any English speaking TV channel, […] not even CNN for a little world news and there was not one iron available anywhere in the hotel. "Excellent location, 2 star hotel at 4 star price"
The location of Villa Pantheon is truly fantastic which is why I chose it. There are metro stations nearby and it's so close to the islands, etc. However, it wasn't very friendly, there was no info about the hotel breakfast (we went to cafes instead which was probably more fun), The glass on the front door was badly cracked making it look very shabby, […] the room was clean but not spotless, the safe didn't work but the worst thing was that the beds were really uncomfortable and the pillows were really cheap. We stayed for four nights and I slept badly every single night. Ending on a positive note, there is alot to do nearby and you really feel as though you're in the heart of Paris. Hotels.com havde bl.a. annonceret, at der ville være badekåber på værelset. Det var der ikke, og på forespørgsel i receptionen blev det oplyst, at badekåber slet ikke fandtes på hotellet, hvorfor det måtte være noget Hotels.com måtte have fundet på! Værelset var meget lille, men heldigvis med fransk altan, så ok. På toilettet fandtes ikke tandkrus, […] men receptionisten fandt på forespørgsel et par glas i baren. I minibaren på værelset var der to vinglas af forskellig størrelse. I løbet af hele opholdet - 4 nætter - blev INGEN af glassene udskiftet eller vasket af, selvom de havde været brugt. Den annoncerede bar så vi på intet tidspunkt bemandet; det skulle den enlige receptionist vel så stå for. Det kunne godt give nogen ventetid at få en enkelt praktisk oplysning i denne enmandsbetjente reception. En vægt til at veje kufferten med ved afrejse ( for at undgå overvægt på flyet ) fandtes heller ikke. Alt i alt : en perfekt beliggenhed, men 4 stjerner er stærk overdrevet. 별4개짜리 호텔이지만 실제로는 별3개정도 되는 수준의 호텔입니다. 그만큼 가격도 아주 비싸지는 않습니다. 프로모션기간을 잘 이용하면 괜찮은 가격으로 숙박가능합니다. 마룻바닥이라 오히려 동양인에게는 더 좋은 것 같습니다. 먼지가 없어 좋았습니다. 좋은 호텔은 아니지만 가격대비 괜찮은 호텔이라 생각합니다. 4호선 생미셀역에서 10분 이내의 거리입니다.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotellrommet var lite, sengen var hard, det var ingen knagger, og vi måtte holde dusjhodet for å dusje. De ansatte var ikke spesielt imøtekommende, og hele hotellet virket veldig slitt. At give dette hotel bedømmelsen 4 * er en stærk overdrivelse. Meget tætter på 2! aircon virkede ikke flere nætter - med 30 grader uden for! Meget larm fra gaden!
