This is a wonderful hotel in a great location a 100 meters from the Luxembourg RER station. The decor is a bit weird, with lots of black and white, but the room we had was very large by Paris standards, had a super comfortable bed, and a spiffy new, modern bathroom. The hotel staff were unobtrusive but supportive where need be. Elevator is a bit miniscule, […] but so what? The brasserie attached to the hotel is not so good, but the hotel itself is superb. I've been to Paris literally dozens of times, and the size of the room is always an issue with my wife who is a bit claustrophobic, but this really fit the bill. Read more

My husband and I loved the Observatoire Luxembourg in Paris. The location was perfect, steps away from the metro. Our room was on the garden side and while small, it was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. This will be our hotel home when we return to Paris!

This is a newly renovated hotel with clean rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent service people. Shortcomings are the quite small rooms, characteristic of left-bank hotels, and important for us, the lack of grab bars in the showers and tubs. Free wifi in the rooms is a plus. The first impression was great; two blocks off the same line from LHR tube stop. Delightful and helpful concierges, and truly pleasant. I love the hotel decor, and took lots of fun pictures. Despite the hotel being off a main boulevard, it is quiet.

I really liked this hotel. First the people who worked there were amazingly friendly and helpful. Second the common areas were friendly and inviting and third I liked the modish decor of the room. I would stay here again but I would note a couple of things- first the room was not huge but it was more than functional and this was Paris where I do not […] expect a huge room. Second, the room faced the Blvd which can be a little loud if the window is opened. Third, it is close to the RER stop and Luxembourg Gardens but a little out of the way if you do not love to walk. The location was excellent for my needs. The hotel room was quite small but comfortable - the bedding was awesome - pillows, sheet, comforter soft and fluffy. The hotel staff was friendly and so helpful that I felt very welcome. The glass shield on the bathtub/shower was awkward - I couldn't help but splash water on the floor.

I would definitely go back to this hotel. It is only 15 minutes to the Seine and 5 minutes to the Latin Quarter. The room was clean and comfortable, although quite basic, and the staff was friendly. Wifi was free in the room and lobby with a good connection speed.

The staff was very nice and spoke English well. We had a great room at the end of the hall with a nice view of the area. The entrance to the underground RER (metro) stop was just across the street (super convenient). There was a small market a few doors down the street that made buying drinks and snacks very easy. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, but we only ate one dinner there, which was OK. Good hotel within walking action of most that goes on in the Left Bank area. Like most Paris hotels, thanks to the low value of the US $, this one is a bit "spendy" unless your can find a deal, like we did, booking it via Expedia.

We were impressed with the hotel and their wonderful staff. when we checked in they said since we were staying 7 nights they were upgrading us to a deluxe room, and the room was very nice. Any time you had a question the staff went out of their way to help you. The location […] was great. The RER train from CDG airport stops at Luxemburg, which is in front of the hotel, this was very convienent not having to change trains with baggage. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter on St. Michel. You can catch the 38 bus in front of the hotel and go down to Saint Germain/St. Michel area for all sorts of fun, there you are right accross the river from Notre Dame Cathedral, truly the location is close to everything. They don't let you take the room key with you, which is cool since they've attached a large weight to it. They just hold it at the desk until you return. Location is very nice and surrounding area has shops and eateries, with Notre Dame within walking distance. Room is small, but clean and has what you need.

The hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful.The room was very comfortable with a luxurious look and feel despite the small space in a standard room. We had a great view over some private gardens towards the back of the hotel. It's less than 100m from the Luxembourg metro which is on a great line to travel around Paris and only two stops from Gare […] du Nord for the Eurostar travellers. The neighbourhood is residential, relaxed and quiet at the far end of Boulevard Michel with a restaurant attached to the hotel and a few local cafes and boulangeries if you venture East of the hotel off Boulevard Michel. There's more of a buzz as you walk North along Boulevard Michel towards the Latin Quarter (Saint Martin), with more shops restaurants and cafes. This area and above all Luxembourg gardens are great to wander around. For the sightseeing theres a lot to do with Notre Dame and Luxembourg gardens being very close by. Read more

I would definitely recommend this good quality small hotel for a weekend break. It is clean with good modern bedroom and bathroom facilities. The hotel is well located near the Jardin du Luxembourg and The Pantheon. There were plenty of good cafes and restaurants only a short walk away.

Great location few RER stops from Gare du Nord and hotel seconds from station. Room small, but decent layout, and fine for 2 nights. Staff very helpful. Not many places to eat etc on doorstep, but you only have to walk 5-10 mins.

Hotel refurb is excellent and though the rooms are petite you have everything you need. The Manager is a great bloke and the staff are willing to assist. Free Wifi and availability of irons a plus for Paris. RER right outside but easy walk to the left bank.

Having been in Paris about 5 times, I CAN say That this hôtel offers for the price a top quality accomodation. Very clean and modern. Very well located at 2 minutes from the Panthéon and 10 minutes from Notre-Dame . Super!
